We are now just 23 days away from the fundraiser! Please consider attending this event if you haven't already purchased your tickets. We are raising money to help Jessica's family offset their medical costs, specifically to help pay for therapy outside of her insurance coverage. The more therapy we can get Jessica the better the chance that she will recover fully! The evening will be awesome with DJ services provided by Ron at Sac DJ, a bar staffed by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, an amazing silent auction and raffle with donations from various individuals and businesses, and wonderful pasta, salad and bread provided by Strings of Folsom and dessert courtesy of Cupcake Craving! This is TRULY a community event. Bring your kids - the Folsom Mounted Patrol will be out greeting all of you as you arrive with the horses!

You can purchase your tickets online at http://www.vivalajessica.com. If you can't attend the event, you can make a donation through the website as well.

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of making this event a success. We couldn't do it without all of you!

There are still a few seats available at the MyFolsom table (or you can sit by yourself, it doesn't matter!) so purchase your tickets TODAY at http://www.vivalajessica.com Don't miss out on this awesome event - lots of yummy food courtesy of Strings, amazing cupcakes provided by Cupcake Craving, bar staffed by the Fraternal Order of the Eagles featuring beer, wine, soda's and water. The silent auction and raffle are shaping up to be top notch (Camay's wife is donating a gorgeous painting!!!!) Please come out and support Jessica!

We are officially 2 weeks away from the Pasta Feed & Silent Auction/Raffle in support of Jessica Baldwin-Lavine. This is shaping up to be a really great event. Volunteers are still needed - if you would like to help man the registration table, sell drink tickets or raffle tickets, help set up or clean up, etc please email me at vivalajessica@ymail.com.

We have broken the 150 count for ticket sales! We would love to get to 200, so please purchase your tickets today at http://www.vivalajessica.com Remember, all proceeds will benefit Jessica to help pay for extra therapy and to offset the considerable medical costs that Jesse & Jolene are facing. You can make a difference in this little girls life, and enjoy a wonderful pasta dinner courtesy of Strings of Folsom!

We have lots of great items for the silent auction/raffle including, but not limited to, a stay at a beautiful home in Sea Ranch, a stay at an awesome cabin in North Shore Tahoe, a gorgeous painting courtesy of Camay's wife, lots of wine, a nights stay at Amber House B&B and dinner at the Tower Bridge Bistro (thanks ChefsRaven), and lots more!

Please consider attending this awesome event. The Folsom Mounted Patrol will be out and we will have a book for you to leave a message for Jessica.

Also, we are working on having a very special guest there that evening. More details as it shapes up.

Thank you to everyone who is working so hard with Barb to make this event successful. It is looking like we will benefit mostly in the therapy arena, as that component seems to be the trickiest and has the most potential for hitting us in the pocketbooks (it already is). You can rest assured that the help you provide us will go directly to helping Jessica learn to make her way back to the world (walking, communication, etc.). We are truly, truly grateful and looking forward to an amazing night.

Thank you all so much.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Jolene,

have you heard of Alta Regional? www.altaregional.org Our daughter Carly was born three months premature. We went through Alta for all her PT and OT for 2 1/2 yrs. We didn't have to go through our health insurance, and Alta took care of everything! I am not sure if Jessica qualifies. But it may be worth looking into.

Kim:

Thanks! Yes! We are on "Step 2" of their 8 month intake process. Also, I have a friend who works with Alta and she says they are Brokebrokebroke, so not sure how much funding and assistance we will receive from them when and if we are approved.

We have also signed up for CCS, but have not completed the process yet.

Thank you so much for the nudge.

That is too bad. Budget cuts!!!! I absolutely loved working with them and it took so much stress off of me during a very stressful time in my life. This was ten years ago, back when insurance companies weren't that awful to deal with.

y & g are close enough on the keyboard I can see how fast typing could cause this kind of typo.
I would rather be Backpacking
