Let me see if I have this correct. Briebart knowingly puts out some half truths. Fox "News" runs with the story all day Monday without checking its authenticity. Several people on this forum parrot what they hear. Conservatives wet themselves thinking they have a genuine black racist. When they realize they are wrong they shift the blame to the people who fired her. The parroting starts anew. And I'm the lemming? Nice try!

Again, it's not for the citizens to research the news as we don't get paid for it or have the time to do it. I guess you research everything you post here? It's been proven again and again, that like the rest of us, you don't.

Now opinion is another matter. Your opinion differs from most conservatives here and that is not surprising. But to blame those who impacted Shirley Sherrod's life goes to the Obama administration...AND, THAT is why HE APOLOGIZED TO HER!

YES! The Democrats "WET" themselves and acted in haste....thinking they could stop another scandal before it happened.

Now, don't tell me the president APOLOGIZED TO SOMEONE WHO DID NOT DESERVE IT!

You can blame me for the thread and you can blame FOX news all you want. BUT, the fact is, the real damage given to Shirley Sherrod was the treatment she got from her employer....the Federal Government. Which was far more hurtful than anything Fox news or the citizens of America could inflict.

And, there are still doubts about her being a reformed racist.....

It is obvious that the powers that be on the right have beeing making a concerted effort to stick charge of Obama with reverse racism....Rush, Hannity, Beck have been peddling this notion that Obama hates whites....for weeks. They have been and will continue to cook up lies. These guys have no qualms even if it means death of thousands of American soldiers and trillion dollars down the drain. Mind-numbing, patholigical liars.

At the same time, Obama stumbled badly on this. I always expected him to make careful, well-thought solid fact based actions. It was a knee-jerk reaction.

I sure hope Obama administration learns from this....we can be sure that the current crop rightwing leaders have no fear of God as far as lying is concerned.

I beg to differ...there have been 2 or 3 stories in the recent past that seemed cooked up...the story about use of agent orange in Vietnam (I think) by CNN. The cook-up got caught, CNN issued unconditional apology, some folks fired. Dan Rather presented a story about Dubya's 'service' during the Vietnam era with cooked-up docs. Dan Rather got fired, CBS tendered unconditional apology. Don't think we've seen anything after that.

Compare that to the right wing... they get caught lying, they blame everyone else around...no one fired...no apologies...just move to cooking up more lies.
