I always wondered why Wienerschnitzel does not sell Wiener Schnitzel (which is just schnitzel, Vienna style), or any other kind of schnitzel for that matter.

Il Fornaio
Noah's Bagels

Ditto!

Plus a Boudin and a Pasta Pomodoro with the old menu. They have gone downhill.

I knew about the Armidillo Williy's in Orangevale and frequented it. There were also stores inl Roseville and Natomas, and that was what my reference to the stores in the region never living up to the stores in the Bay Area. They didn't have the same menu or products, and were much more inconsistent than the Bay Area store. That is largely why I suspect they didn't do well here....

I had heard rumblings of a Pinkberry coming to Palladio.

Keeping my fingers crossed a Buckhorn Grill might make it to the Palladio too.

.

There was an Armadillo Willy's near the Orangevale/Folsom border a few years ago. Now it's O'Conner's Santa Maria BBQ.
And I hear that Pinkberry is coming to town, I think at the Palladio. I don't know the time frame though.

I think a Cheesecake Factory would be great here in Folsom. I believe it would have a great chance of success.

Cheesecake Factory would be awesome...but with locations in Roseville and Sacramento, i'm skeptical they will come to Folsom. maybe the Palladio will attract them? seems like their kind of vibe

Since they have now reduced prices my favorite chain to come to Folsom would be el Pollo Loco. Love their chicken with the tortillas and salsa. Have not tried their new entries yet- the beef offerings.

Count me in for El Pollo Loco times two. It's fairly healthy, tasty and you can feed a small army like mine for under $30! The Sunrise location isn't too fair, it's just, well, on Sunrise so I'd have to fight the traffic.

Third vote for El Pollo Loco.

Legal Sea Foods.

Ducky,

You are too funny - Legal Sea Food in Folsom??? If I thought it was possible, I would have already called. You can order from them on line and have it shipped. If you are so inclined, there are a number of companies in Maine and Massachusetts that will ship lobster, steamers, mussels, cod, corn, potatoes and odd other things. They ship in a single container, or multiple, depending upon the number of people you are planning to feed. The container is a big aluminum can. You add fluid (water, beer or wine), put it on a charcoal weber grill, and in 30 minutes, put on your bib and eat. It is typically about $50.00 per person - and very good, especially if you can predict that you are in the mood for lobster and steamers at least 2 days in advance. Your other option, for lobster anyway, is to get them at Savemart, and cook them yourself at home. I am required to do lobster rolls whenever the Patriots play in the super bowl - which also requires shipping of the correct hot dog rolls (from New England). $6.00 worth of hot doge rolls costs $27.00 to ship - and Fed Ex in Massachusetts thinks people who ship hot dog rolls are crazy.

Another option is the Woodhouse Grill in SF. It is a hole in the wall that ships in eastern clams, lobster and a few other things. They hired a local bakery to make the hot dog rolls for them - but if you want east coast fried clams - this is the place to get them. Prices are very reasonable - you can see the menu on their website.

What shall I make for dinner????????????????/

Love Legal Seafood!
When we visit family in Maryland, we eat at the inner harbour location.
