I was out at those wetlands a few weeks ago running the dogs, some of that water out there is almost chest high. Easy to hide from dogs in that stuff. The SO FLIR didn't pick him up either. Those minimum security guys aren't held in by a fence...they can just walk off the property at any time. I do know that FPD had people out there all night. DOC as well. It was never 'called off' as it was put out.

Shadow Fax is technically El Dorado Hills. I would imagine El Dorado County would be involved as well, wouldn't they?
