Average number of citations per officer per month in Folsom is the lowest in the region, yet we know we have a big problem here in Folsom. Doesn't make sense. That's why I invoked the term "lazy". Prove me wrong. You can't...

Actually, I'll take on the challenge of proving you wrong, but first you have to provide me with the source of your statistics which back up your claim that the average number of citations per officer per month in Folsom is the lowest in the region.

And define "region", so I can start where you are.

Don't worry, it's a no-win situation for you. I've seen the FPD report, and they're not exactly happy with it, given our speeding/red light/stop sign issues in this city. Nuff said....

I'm not concerned with winning or losing, simply curious about your statistics and their source.

No offense, but I don't trust ANY of you enough to reveal how/why I have this information. Suffice it to say the FPD is working on beefing-up patrols and the issuance of citations, since they KNOW dangerous driving is going on at an unprecedented level here in Folsom. They receive such a high volume of input and complaints from the public, that coupled with this new stat on the low number of citations comparable to cities this size, that they now have to adjust...that means hopefully alot more ticket-writing....

Okay, K Rat, let's see:

1. You say Folsom PD are lazy, based on stats for which you won't state source (for your eyes only?)
2. You don't trust ANY of your fellow postmates to reveal information (were you not at liberty in the first place to bring it up? If that's the case, YOU are the one who shouldn't be trusted.)
3. Now you're kinda back-pedaling it seems and giving FPD the benefit of the doubt and saying they're working on beefing up patrols and issuance of citations.

Sounds like you have bi-polar issues with FPD.

At any rate, I'm hoping Kerri Howell (or any other City-connected person) will see this thread and supply stats that either support or refute your claim that FPD has been lazy but now is working on beefing up patrols/citations.

Again, I'm not disputing your statistics as it's not possible to dispute something that's not available for me to review.

Nope, you don't have to submit your posts for any one to review. But I guess that's the whole point of this site - to have discussion of issues of importance. You have an opinion which you say is supported by facts that you won't disclose.

You'll see by the (mostly) intelligent discussions here that we like to share our sources and a lot of people put their research cites within their posts so that we can each accept or reject information that we want.

I guess if I object to anything you've put on here it's that you want to make a declaration of fact for which only you purport to have the supporting data.

That's like saying "I have proof that the world is flat, but it's a secret, so I can't share it with you".
