So, when do all the celebrities who said they would leave if Trump were to be elected actually leave? Before the inauguration, I hope. Or are these just more lies that were too good to be true? Progressive and promises - mutually exclusive?

Sanstar, rather than duplicate your post, I just wanted to add to it.
The progressives have a strong belief of entitlement for what is not theirs to take or give. If take a quick look at where the progressive population is dense, they are generally very dense metro areas which are not generally known to be of strong morale character, ethics and values. The epitome of which is the brainless Hollywood airheads who mistake celebrity for substance.
People crying on TV. University students needing counseling and safe spaces. Hollywood types who can't count to 10 thinking their opinions matter. These are the types of people who support Clinton? I'm glad to not be counted as one of them.
While Clinton was off promoting climate control and other faux social justices, Trump was addressing the concerns of the roots of America - illegal immigration, terrorism, the economy. It's yet to be seen if he will be successful. But trying in these areas is far better than any successes in red herring pursuits of faux social justices and unproven (or disproven) climate issues.
Is Trump all that? Probably not. He has great potential and I trust that he will be net beneficial to the population in general. But it wouldn't surprise me if big business benefits from his administration. That, however, is still by far more preferable and incomparable than having a criminal, traitor and tyrant in office.

Of course they're not leaving. Progressives, especially in Hollywood, are liars and drama queens...and quite immature.
Loved that video. The cat was NOT happy in that suitcase!

You still fail to see, or to admit to the fact that the vast majority of violence in this election was against Trump supporters. They were assaulted physically, they were prevented from "freedom to assemble" at Trump events. They were hit with eggs, bags of paint, bags of piss, bags of bleach by bandanna face covered progressive punks. Their cars were damaged or burned, and the brave ones who actually put Trump bumper stickers on their cars or lawn signs on their houses were vandalized constantly.
Quote from Half-Aced:
The Clinton family is a crime family of liars, cheats, and corrupt crooks. There's a special place in Hell for them, their associates, and their ignorant voters.
President Trump, please do whatever you can to put Hillary Clinton in prison.
Funny, we saw that in 2000 when Bush won . . . SORE WINNERS! Go figure.
They win and they are still angry, unforgiving, ungracious.
Sorry, Chis, plenty of mindless violence on the right.

Sorry, Chis, plenty of mindless violence on the right.
Vinny, please supply links and examples for me to see....! Would love to see them... Plenty of "Kill Bush" tee shirts back in the day........ Never saw a "Kill Obama" tee shirt anywhere, never, ever, ever, never..... Nor should I...! And I would be greatly offended if I did. That is my President, right or wrong....! But it was ok for the Kill Bush tee shirts.....? All you leftist progressives thought it was funny and appropriate.........? Says a lot about the right and the left. I am proud to be on the right and shake my head in wonder how violent, intolerant, vindictive, and down right racist the left can be and without a call out by the MSM. They are on your side and it allows you to do so much wrong in this world and feel good and righteous about it at the same time. The left sucks, and you just got a wake up call two days ago..... Pay attention and learn from it. Chris

I consider Piers Morgan a self serving, short sighted, attention whoring idiot. That being said, just like a broken clock, he can say something reasonably agreeable on occasion.
Here is his take on why the 'basket of deplorables' won the election and why all the lunatics are crying. To be clear, I don't hold Democrats in ill regard. Just the delusional, misinformed, low information, whiny entitled fanatics on the far progressive side who are a clear and present danger to this country.
The more the privileged elite sucked up to Clinton, the more determined it made Mr and Mrs Ordinary American to trigger Millennial Armageddon

Deplorables Regrouping For The Next Attack
By Francis Marion
It’s Nov 10th and it’s time to face the music.
For those of you on the left I know it is hard. You are confused, bewildered and deeply, deeply saddened. Maybe even triggered. You probably missed work or school yesterday, called in sick or simply didn’t get out of bed. That’s ok though because your Indigenous Women’s Studies prof said it was ok to skip the exam today. Everyone is getting an A as a morale builder. So cheer up.
But unfortunately that doesn’t really explain anything. How did this happen? It wasn’t supposed to happen. But it did. How could the polls be so wrong? What about the entire media? How?
Well, here are a few theories that might help you see where some of your mistakes were made. First, and probably foremost, is just good old fashioned hubris. The idea that “we can’t be beat”. Arrogance mixed with confirmation bias is a dangerous thing in any type of conflict; physical or otherwise. Just ask General Custer. Things didn’t work out real well for him and for the same reasons.
This leads directly into another problem that often arises from hubris. That is: failing to understand your enemy.
It would interest you to know that I, the author of this piece, am not an American. That’s right. I’m not a Yank. I don’t reside in the USA and have no interest in doing so. That means, unlike my illegal immigrant counterparts currently residing in your nation, I didn’t vote.
But like many who fall into the ‘basket of deplorables’ residing in the US I realized early on that the battle between Trump and Clinton was much more than simply a contest between two politicians for the presidency. At its core it was an ideological conflict between light and dark, truth and lies. It was a struggle for the heart of western civilization in general.
And while I’ve never considered myself much of a right winger, being more of a libertarian bent, I have found myself increasingly pushed and marginalized by the “enlightened and progressive” amongst you into the same camp with all sorts of deplorables, regardless of where they lived and what they called themselves. Nationalists, alt righters, anarchists, constitutionalists and so on and so forth all made for strange bedfellows but an effective team. Working on the premise that the enemy of my enemy is my friend we have all found common ground. We have you to thank for that. By pushing, badgering, harassing, marginalizing and insulting us on a regular basis you created something new. And it crushed you at the ballot box.
There were other factors as well. The pesky internet for example. It allowed those of us who could not vote to contribute in other ways. Through memes, leaks and general trolling we cheered and supported our freedom loving brothers and sisters in your country and encouraged them to have heart and stay the course. Of course, our part was small, minisucle really, compared to what our American brothers and sisters had to endure, but you get the picture.
Elections, especially ones mired in icky things like ideology and principle, now cross national boundaries. It sucks I know, but a lack of imagination on your part does not equal or represent a foul on ours. We did nothing illegal or immoral. We simply beat you because, well, we’re smarter than you are.
But not to worry. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn from your mistakes. You see, the battle that took place in your polling stations on the 8th of November was just that. A battle. We, the freedom loving peoples of the western world, well, we’re just getting warmed up. To quote the man: “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet“.
So retreat to your safe spaces, grab your adult colouring books and put on a happy face my special snow flakes because regardless of whoever/whatever you are and regardless of what nation it is you reside in, we, the deplorables, are coming for you.

Actually, I DO hold Democrats in ill regard. After 8 years of a declining America and mega-partisanship, for ANYONE to think we needed MORE of that signifies that we've got some really messed up people in this country.
Trump was truly a GodSend to get America back on the right track.

Aces, I understand what you intend to say. But it's probably ill suited to lump all Democrats into a big bucket as such. There are Democrats who fully support the Constitution, the BoR and the Amendments. They have a different but reasonable philosophy on certain issues but are fully American. I wouldn't lump them into a general category anymore than I would wholly advocate the GOP, who, as you know, has been largely disappointing as well. In fact, some of these Dems are more Republican in behavior than some so called Republicans.
I think it is beneficial to distinguish based on the merits of one's character and beliefs, rather than a broad brush label. There is a population within the Rep and Dem parties that is striving to make America great again. To pull it back from the gallows of superficiality and back into a global leadership position in reality for the long term. For those of us who strive toward this common goal, we must shed these broad brush labels. We must work together because it will never be just us or them. It's all of us together.
The lunatics on both sides, however, will have their place. But it won't be in places of power. They may have celebrity. But they should never have power to sway us.

I understand what YOU intend to say, but let's remember Hillary got 60 MILLION votes.
That is disturbing. You can theorize and get wordy with idealistic flowery language, but that dog don't hunt any more.
This is a time to do what Democrats usually do: go for blood.
This is a war to preserve America.

Aces: Trump is still an unknown and history is still to be written. This is but one battle of ideology of many yet to come.
Trump's term can turn out in a few different ways:
1) Can be a fantastic president for the country
2) Can be a fantastic president for conservatives
3) Can try fantastically but fail to overcome Rep and Dems on the other side of the aisle
4) Can fail miserably
There are elements of the population that voted for Trump with whom I don't identify. The KKK for example. Statistically, there are probably some who voted for Hillary with whom I could identify but they just need to make better choices, from our perspective. For example, perhaps there are a group of voters that actually think conservative but voted based on gender. You and I know that's stupid, but that's an artifact of an uninformed voting public. There were actually people interviewed who said they voted solely because she was female; because other nations have female leaders and it's time that the US also did. Again, stupid. But they may be feeling that it doesn't matter whose president as nothing really changes; might as well vote female. They just need to see that elections and presidents and elected officials DO make a difference, if not immediately than for generations to come. Decisions made in the 30's and 40's are biting us hard now.
But if they can be better informed to make better choices, that 60M who voted for Hillary this time may be a much smaller number next time. All I'm saying is to not rule out Dems broadly. Remember, it's known and common for young people to start off Democrat and then as they age, become Republican. We need to capture that and accelerate it. Dems will try to offset this by bringing in new populations (ie - immigrants, illegal or legal). We need to step up our game and better everyone. Don't alienate them. Convince them. Influence them. What other option do you have?
Again, I agree that there is a large segment who are just delusional lunatics and can't be saved. LA/Hollywood types makes up a large part of this segment. Those, I agree are a lost cause. I don't even want them to be on our side. Disgusting shameful people, they are. Paint them with whatever broad brush you want.
