It says, in effect, if you want to live in peaceful world, you have to give up certain rights.

Like the right to kill your neighbor if you don't like him.

Like the right to burn down the forest because it blocks your view.

 

SURE, you have the right to leave your house, but the underlying law of decency

suggests you don't cough in your neighbor's face when you know you have a deadly disease.

 

Of course you can always reject such laws of decency, but don't be expecting

to be welcome in a civil society. Instead you can move to one of those

sh!#-hole countries where the rule is "Every man for himself."

In other words, move back to the stone age.
