Was there a straw that broke the camel's back, or was it just too cantankerous all around?

I agree...we don't need the politics forum...it's all just bash-Bush-liberal-talking-points-no-ideas-cloud-the-issues-democrat-spew that we hear day after day...it does get boring...we don't need it...and THAT'S what bothers them...

I think someone complained to mommy because the other boys were ignoring him or something. Same idea as the "poop in the punchbowl" that ruins it for everyone.

But it was getting kind of cantankerous as you say, so I think we're on a "time out" and sent to the corner so we can get back to discussing things like "the moon vs the sun" and "paper or plastic" or whatever, and political opinions have now been relegated to people's signatures, best I can tell.

It may be more than just a 'time out', at least I hope so...all it ever turns into is a political brawl, and how productive is that...maybe you can find other forums on the web to do your political brawling !!!

Who cares if it's "divisive"... politics is always "divisive"... the only difference here in this country is we don't behead you if we disagree....

So if someone can't handle a debate... don't participate...

I mean there is a lot to talk about here... War on Terror that we are losing... The special election on November 8th.... Illegal Immigration and the return of a new strain of TB....the fillibusters of judges.... Gitmo.... just to name a few issues....
