For all the time some of us spend there, we never actually reviewed the burger at Manderes.

There were a couple of places mentioned across the river.

I'd like to try another indie lunch-counter type of place. Big Dip was surprisingly inoffensive.

Bill posted a review on Manderes.... but you bring up a good point, the rest of us haven't reviewed their burger officially yet - how about this Friday?

Which places across the river? I'm up for trying out some different places, maybe we should also include the Purple Place since it won best burger in Folsom/EDH Style magazine - I'm thinking we need to check that place out sometime... although they are slightly out of the Folsom boundaries..

I agree too I'd like to try another indie place - throw out some ideas and we'll plan it

and we'll work in Bill's schedule too maybe we should do this every other week instead of weekly (it does add up $) - and maybe we can chip in to help ol' mylo - course we'll hafta charge him 28% interest rate heheheheh (just kidding mylo!)

I have a free lunch card for Malabar -- if you eat at the bar, they give you a stamp with each lunch (after 4 lunches, you get one free up to $10). I'd be willing to give it to mylo for his review. You may have to sit at the bar to use it but I think that's preferred seating anyway. smile.gif

What's for lunch today? I'm looking for a reason to eat something besides the 2 bananas I brought to work today.
I would rather be Backpacking

Sounds good!

and I like the new review factor too. the only deal I've found lately is the 20% coupon for an entree at Manderes, been looking for more out there...

- any recommendations for next week?

A few suggestions - Purple Place (ignore the county\city line), BJ's, Mel's, Ernies, GMC, road trip to the Squeeze Inn or Tahoe for Izzy's Burger Spa or Garwoods or Jakes on the Lake (just kidding the Tahoe trip).
