How self-important of you to refer to yourself in the third person. I never said you were part of BizPac. Consider the facts duly checked. Your "Like" of Howell's Facebook post is a true indication of your character.Stanley is not part of BizPAC nor has ever been, Judge Smails (repeated by RichT). Do your fact checking.

Well, she is on Howell's jock. Either way, I will never spend another cent at Lockdown and will go out of my way to make sure that none of my friends, family or neighbors do, either. Hit 'em in the pocketbook, since that's what "they" understand.

Wait... whoa... what did I miss? How did this become an attack on Lockdown?
In general, I find this a bit disturbing. I'm not a fan of hurting someone's livelihood just because they have a different opinion than you, especially when it is really hurting one of your neighbors. It's not like we're talking about slavery or torturing kittens. We're talking about a difference in opinion about how to best manage the City.
I sure hope the new Folsom Local PAC doesn't just become some vindictive version of everything that people hate about BizPAC and the sign-stealing supporters of the incumbents.

It won't. We will support and represent Folsom residents and businesses. The Chamber's PAC doesn't do that, so we will. No negativity, just a voice for Folsom and not developers.

dont know what that means to be on someones jock? Is that a slur of infidelity?
I can say this. Teresa is a good person in personal world. She is a durned good lawyer. She cares a great deal more about kids than my confidence in the any teacher or admin in Folsom Cordova (who I know personally).
Not that some people out there aren't good teachers and stuff. But Teresa knows her stuff.

Looks like the puppets are back in place. Time for the puppet master to take over(RH). Should be an interesting 2 years here in town and I hope things do not go too far south. Interesting how they had Mr. Morin reply to Ernie Sheldons letter in the newspaper. I wonder who was pulling AM's strings.
Hopefully in the next election there will be a smaller group of challengers for a city council seat and one of the current cc members will be removed from office. I was so hoping one of them would have been removed from office in the latest voting.

I don't know what Lockdown has to do with anything. That statement was more of what you'd hear out of the side you don't like.

I agree. Even if Ms. Stanley is a part owner of a particular business, I wouldn't stay away from her business because I disagree with her politics. Even if she attended a BizPAC fundraiser, I wouldn't stay away from her business. They were supporting Measure G and she is on the school board. Maybe she was a guest and didn't actually pay the $50 or whatever to help raise funds. I don't know.
I don't like the idea of business owners being afraid to voice their opinion precisely because this kind of thing has happened from the other side. The target may be the owner, but the business creates jobs and the employees become collateral damage. I wouldn't want to be responsible for that over a difference of opinion.
Would it affect my vote? You bet.

I was at the BizPAC party as a guest myself. There were quite a few business people there, owners and managers of restaurants, retailers, hotels, a spa, folks in education and banking, media and the bowling alley.

What is the benefit of a local business being a member of the Chamber of Commerce? There are so many other reasons not to patronize Lockdown other than their chamber connection.
Stop being a bitter snarky spitter and maybe you would see the bigger picture.

Well, exactly. It wouldn't keep me from asking for your services because you seem extremely competent. Same for Ms. Stanley, although I truly hope I'm never in need of her particular area of expertise. I don't go to Lockdown often because I'm not much of a beer drinker. I've only been there with friends, and I wouldn't try and get them to go somewhere else if they asked me to meet there.
I guess we all have our tipping points. Some people boycotted Chick-fil-a. Some people boycotted Lowe's over their withdrawal from some reality show that I would have never watched anyway. I didn't feel strongly enough to get back in the car for something small when I could hit Trader Joe's and Lowe's in the same shot. I don't eat at Carl's Jr. because I find their ads offensive. To each his or her own.
