Anything not in Folsom or maybe Rancho, I can only make it on days off.

Over the weekend we had breakfast at Early Toast. I went with the Burger instead and was not disappointed. Dan, you'll even be happy, it came with a full-fledged pickle spear!

The real question of this thread should be: who has the best turkey burger?

good question, have only made turkey burgers at home, but gotta admit, they're harder to make then hamburgers due to the thinner consistency but they are tasty

for grins I checked Islands and they don't have a turkey burger but they have a vegi burger but you'll find all kinds of alternatives at red robin including a fish burger, chicken burger and they do have yours - a turkey burger

hey Mylo, interesting to hear Early Toast had a good burger

speaking of all this - you guys wanna go try some place this week for lunch?

Thursday I'm going to our company's Xmas Party at Cattlemans, so that day is out.
Today, I'm having homemade French Dip, I roasted the beef on Saturday.

other than that I'm game, the closer to the freeway, the better for me.
I would rather be Backpacking

So far as I've ever been able to tell, the point of a "turkey burger" is to make palatable something you don't really want to eat by disguising it as something you'd rather be having.

I'll rate turkey sandwiches though.

Well Bill Z you have the right idea for a french dip sandwitch by making them at home, vecause you can't get a real dipper in this town and I have been searching for years, the one place that comes close is Tahoe Joes'. At least they don't used the pre-sliced deli type of prime rib. What time is lunch anyway? hehe
Also, I forgot to mention that Jaspers Giant Hamburgers in Rancho serves up Ostrich burgers, never have tried one though...
