Who's the divider?
A peeResident who attacks members of his own party.

A president who sides with Russia over his own intelligence agencies.

A president who attacks members of congress

A president who calls the free press "the enemy of the people."

Worse yet, a president who brags about being a sexual predator,

and now, in the headlines, a fear-filled, hate filled racist with his rants    :cuss2:

against women of color.

I'm really surprised the Trump supporters are willing to show their face on a day

when the most shockingly racist rants are the dominating headlines.

This illegitimate president has lost all claim to any form of human decency.

WOuld you say identity politics unite or divide? Who OWNS identity politics?

The press IS complicit in the division of America. They are no longer interested in TRUTH, they are interested in selling a narrative (oddly one that is not a majority view of Americans).

To some degree you are right Joe, MHO.

The business interests of the media is to sell newspapers.
Conflict, strife, division make for more sales.

Still, I feel real journalism has an important role to play.

Where do you find (and define) "real" journalism?   I find what is left out of stories is the biggest indicator of how "real" a story is.  That is why I read the same story from multiple sources (not all aligned sources.)  After a while, you start to see massive biases in reporting.  Stories without context, portions of the truth presented as the whole story, etc.

The problem is that traditional media is dying a slow death. As they do, they are more and more desperate to "sell" the news.  So much so, that journalistic integrity is overrun by desire for clicks.  Retractions never get the traction or views that false, hyperbolic claims do.  I say good riddance. If you cut your own throat for short term gain, I deserve to die.

I asked the same question recently and got turned on to Axios.

They do the best job I've seen so far of being truly objective when presenting a story.

Some wise observations, Joe.

I'd only make the distinction that it's counter-productive to reject a report as false,

simply because it's something you don't agree with.

Example: If you like Bill Clinton and then hear reports of him befriending Jeffrey Epstein,

then you cannot dismiss that as false just because you like Bill.
Same applies if you like Trump.

Itend to read sites I disagree with or consider biased just to see where the narrative is going. Really gives some perspective. I rate such news based on what information they leave out. It soon becomes very clear which news sources are lower quality.

The self-proclaimed Antifa militant who was killed Saturday by Washington state police as he attacked a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center was seen in a recent CNN program that critics say glorified a radical, left-wing movement.

CNN has done more to give the psycho domestic terrorists of Antifa credibility than any other outlet, Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. Now Antifa has escalated from attacking people in the street to sending a journalist to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage to, finally, a deadly act of domestic terrorism.

This is the crowd that people like Vinny refuse to denounce.

Be vigilant citizens. Recognize the enemies. Provide no quarter.

A simple question to put the idea that Trump's invitation to the 4 traitors is somehow racist:

If a white Congress man or woman espoused as much hate for America as these enemies of the US have, would Trump feel ANY DIFFERENTLY about inviting them to leave??

It's really that simple folks. Trump loves his country and it's his SWORN DUTY to protect her from all threats, foreign and domestic.

TROLLER-IN-CHIEF: President Trump renewed the battle between himself and radical left congresswomen (otherwise known as The Squad), who he says speak badly about the U.S. and spew racist hatred. He called on them to apologize for the foul language and terrible things they have said in a pair of tweets Monday morning. Story below. Nothing says *classy* like twit women in Congress swearing like sailors. And modern-day Libs love it.  You Libs are such losers. This is such great anti-Dem publicity!! Trump = Genius!

The "Squad" is obsessed with color, religion, sexuality and gender. This is so blatantly clear

one would have to be brain dead to miss it.

The term, "White Supremacist" is the new term used by the extreme liberals, and they think that's fine. But then, when they don't get the response they want, they get even more foul mouthed.

I've seen twelve year olds have more sense than these women.

so ilhan, tlaib, aoc are all in trouble, right? They are anti-semitic bigots- They actually attacked people because of their race- Trump did not- the fact that they are all women of color is meaningless- they could just as well have been white women- He called them out for being ANTI-AMERICAN, and NOT for being black- big difference between what Trump said and what the anti-semitic, anti-american sob squad has said in the past!

There's one person in our Federal government looking out for AMERICA and her citizens. One person who puts his country's needs above all others. One incredible man who cares about you and me:

President Donald J Trump

Thanks be to God for him.

Thank God for Trump. Can you imagine the socialist dumpster fire America would be without him? We dodged a HUGE bullet in November 2016. And we'll do it again next year, thanks to good, decent people like Slow, Chris, Rose, and me. God Bless all Trump supporters... the REAL Americans !!
