Tahoe Joes has great burgers. I went with Bruce and had a salad but I definately had burger envy. rolleyes.gif

Looks worth checking out!

for Friday should we do Islands part II or Tahoe Joes? either place works ok for me

speaking of freeway close, looking forward to in-n-out opening soon....

Yeah, me too. They keep tainting us (in Monty Python accent) with the Opening Soon sign but at least they are making some progress with most of the exterior done.

A lot of the prior posts talked about doing this Friday. Thursday is the correct day?

Friday, Tahoe Joes, is now loaded into my calendar. But I might need to adjust the specific time. Is it 12 noon or do we want to try and beat the lunch rush by arriving at 11:30 or 11:45?
I would rather be Backpacking

google puts it 26 minutes from my work to Tahoe Joe's, so I'll leave at 11 this Friday, maybe I should make it a 1/2 day at work and spend the afternoon Xmas shopping.

heheh you'll hate me... map point puts it 6 minutes from my home office to TJ's so I'll leave around 11:20 tongue.gif , and I'm taking the whole day off as a vacation day to get some work done around the house and do some shopping too

Bill Z, May I suggest the 1/2 Day Off rule does apply here ! Just for 2 very good reasons. # 1 being good burgers cooked your way, over a wood fire with a Pickle !!
# 2 rule being the beer is plentiful and Darn COLD to boot... Can't go wrong here.. Enjoy..

I've been to TJ's for Prime rib on my Birthday for the last 2 or 3 years, so I know they have Guinness on tap. I expect they know how to make a good burger.
