I try to adhere to the saying, "Life's too short". I apologize if I've ever insulted you (don't think I have as I've gone back through a lot of posts and can't find the word Bigot or homophobe in any of my posts). It goes both ways though and I even forgive you for insinuating that I'm a liar in an earlier post.

In my opinion, if you are going to post about controversial subjects on a public forum such as this, you should sometimes expect emotionally charged responses. If you can't handle that you have to either get off the board or grow a thicker skin. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately we sometimes do have folks like EDF that continually cross the line with direct insults. However I'd even have a civilized beer with him but I think he'd refuse on the basis he might catch something from us stinkin libs.

That said, it appears as if everyone here has been genuine in their apologies. If your still afraid for your safety, I'll be the first to step up and defend you against that hoodlum Dburr.

Of course there are more than one set of rules. Having moderated many a forum, there are usually dozens. In real life, theres about 35,000. So generally this is easier to figure out and navigate!

Manderes celebrated their 1 year anniversary last night with a big beer tasting event

Saw several myfolsomites in attendance and we had a great evening of fantastic beers, good friends and good times.

I'm really glad Manderes is still doing very well after a year in business - they deserve it because they are by far the best pub in town.
