early toast can work - I take it they are open for lunch? I had always assumed it was only a breakfast place all this time....

I think they are open until 2 PM, I had a burger there once, it was pretty good from what I recall, but I seem to remember it seemed a little on the pricey side looking at the menu. Like a side order of two strips of bacon was almost $4

Oh and to mention in all honesty, the pickles were ordered in advance by myself but the edict was not related to the kitchen or waitress staff.. Damn..
So with that in mind, I have implemented my tried and true edict.
(The floggings will continue, Until the moral improves !!) So come on down and enjoy yourselves....

Now Darth , That is why I am not in the boat business anymore... But they sure look good in your driveway don't ya think? hehe but like I told folks back in the 90's when we had our water problems, holy smokes there are over 1,000 miles of waterways on the Sacramento River... places to go, bars and restaurants to visit... It would take an average person many years to discover all of the slews, cuts, back venture joints available to only the persons whom have a imagination and think outside of a little lake going around in circles... ho-hum

Had the burger at the Purple Place a few days ago, topped with blue cheese and bacon.
Nice bun, tasty juicy burger, good toppings, blue cheese and bacon made for a great accompaniment. Barely finished it. Good french fries, thin and crispy. Some pickle slices on board but no side pickles. It was around $8.50. Recommended. Better than the $6 burger at Carls, on par with Red Robin.
I like the Burger Hut as well, but you pretty much have to order a double or larger if you're going to dress it up, and I usually end up getting it with a cold bun, which I dont like. It can be very expensive until you figure out that a half order of fries is enough for everyone at the table.
Since with a cold bun I often ended up with a cold sandwich by the time I added all the stuff to it, I've often just piled lettuce and tomato and some other stuff on the side, whipped up a little dressing with some mayo and ketchup and had a side salad along with my warm burger.
