I took a tour last night. It's huge. They offer a full compliment of Ayurvedic treatments...consultations, massage, chakra balancing, enemas...yes, enemas. There's a variety of massages for a range of prices, started at $77 for an hour of Swedish, up to $187 for synchronized tandem, and up to $177 for their rain shower treatments.

Serenity Spa is very nice. I am in the middle of taking advantage of their $10 for 10 days of unlimited yoga. It's not hot yoga for those Zuda or Leap yoga people. It's more relaxing, but, like any yoga, you can always get a workout if you push yourself. I'm enjoying it very much, and they've got some great gift ideas in their storefront.

In other Palladio news, Chico's and Soma are "coming soon." Across the street from the jewelry store.

Lots of new shops going in at Palladio. I am conflicted as it is a fun place to go to but I wish there was a way that more small business could afford space in Folsom like this. We did enjoy watching the Santa carriage go about and Santa was so friendly and mindful of his guests but the line was way too long. Maybe one Santa carriage for kids and one handsome coach for a romantic turn for us couples that like to cuddle? I was wondering if folks knew if any of the places open in Palladio were owned by local Folsomites?

Sugar Daddies is scheduled to open in March. They are going to be right by Pinkberry. The Sac Business Journal says it is a combination of the Davis Creamery and Cupcake Craving.
The other new one is going to be It's Kids Time, a daycare offering parents a place to drop the kids while shopping or doing dinner and a movie.

Is Jake's replacing Sugar Daddies?
Good for Folsom. Its apparent lots of people are taking advantage of the Palladio. The shopping center was hopping tonight. It looked like the theater was really busy, and people frantically searching for parking. Someone attempted a u-turn into Kirkland's loading spot & had to back out, all in front of me.
I still prefer the Roseville Fountains, much more walk-friendly, great atmosphere & a great selection of stores.

I think it is an excellent idea! I can't tell you how many time I have dutifully rinsed off a batch of fresh-picked cherries only to have them ruined by attempting to dry them with a towel! I am so excited to discover that there is a place I can take them to have them blown dry! I would...
what?
Oh, not THAT kind of cherry blow dry bar?
Danggit!

okay, checked it out. apparently for $35 women can go in and get their hair washed and then styled with blow drying and brushes. No hair cut involved. Just blow drying. Wow.
