Last year all one needed was a Covid shot.....well two, really, as only one wouldn't work.

 

Then came the word that one would have to get a booster shot.

 

Today, our Masters said we'd be having a booster every three months!!!

DOH: 93.49% of COVID-19 deaths are among unvaccinated

The Department of Health (DOH) reiterated on Monday that deaths and serious outcomes are more likely to happen among unvaccinated individuals compared to those fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In a media briefing, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that out of the 216,074 total COVID-19 cases admitted in health facilities from March 1 to November 14, those who were fully vaccinated represented 86%.

Among those who died of COVID-19, those who were not fully vaccinated represented 93.49%.

Vergeire said deaths are 2.6 times more likely among the unvaccinated, while severe and critical symptoms are 1.75 times more likely to occur among the unvaccinated compared to those fully vaccinated.

“Vaccination will be the key in continually reducing our deaths,” Vergeire said, noting that if more Filipinos get fully vaccinated, more opportunities will be at hand.

A Minnesota woman is urging others to get vaccinated after her mom died of COVID-19.

Faith Voss-Paulson's mother, Monica Voss, died on Friday at St. Cloud Hospital due to complications from COVID, according to her obituary. She was just one month shy of her 41st birthday.

Monica's death came less than a month after her husband, Jeremy Voss, revealed on Facebook that they were both in the hospital after contracting COVID.

"I was driven here at night in ambulance from Mora. Monica joined me here the next day," Jeremy wrote. "Can barely get out of hospital bed and constantly on oxygen tube right now... I don't know for sure when I can leave or what condition I will leave in or what side affects I may have."

At the time of their hospitalization, Monica and Jeremy were both unvaccinated despite the pleas of their daughter, says 20-year-old Faith, who works as surgical technician and has been vocal about trusting the vaccine on social media.

Marcus Lamb, founder and CEO of conservative Christian broadcaster Daystar Television Network and a vocal anti-vaxxer, died at the age of 64, weeks after he tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement on Twitter, the network did not specify his cause of death but said: “It’s with a heavy heart we announce that Marcus Lamb, president and founder of Daystar Television Network, went home to be with the Lord this morning.”
