Except for hard core gaming, the Wii is the way to go.
Many of us don't care to pay $600 and up for a bloody console, games and accessories.

Sony and M$ view their customers as a bunch of nobs!
If I had my druthers, they can all buzz off!

How do you know this if you haven't played a PS3? Sounds like you're just repeating what the Nintendo fanboys say.

I think the PS3 is ridiculously overpriced. No, actually, I think it's over accessorized. Who needs a DVD player with your consol?? I mean, I love Playstation; don't get me wrong. But the price is ridiculous, and the blue-ray thing or whatever seems excessive to me. Sure, great graphics rock. But I'd hate to spend hundreds on a console and play a video game that's just "eh".

The Wii's graphics aren't the best, but like everyone says and knows, Nintendo knows gaming. Their games are just purely fun. Isn't that what counts?

Nintendo fangirl or not, I vote Wii. :]

Gameplay is certainly what counts in the end. Graphics can sometimes add to that, and sometimes detract.

I'm a big Nintendo fan; camped out overnight (slept on asphalt) to get a Wii on launch day (also bought a GC and N64 on launch day). With that said, I'm just not entirely sold on the Wii. The graphics are underwhelming at best, and the controller, while very cool, may end up being more annoying than useful once the novelty wears off.

The real test will be Mario Galaxy I think.

As far as the PS3 goes. Blu-Ray is absolutely gorgeous on a big screen, as are games at 1080.
