My "faves" are Glenmorangie 15 y/o or Oban, both are "effing" good.

Mylo...the time is now...convert to "Two Buck Chuck".

I read in last week's Taste section of the Bee that the 2004 Charles Shaw Chardonnay won "Best of State" at the California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition.

Seriously.

And I like Oban, too. Nifty box it comes it, too. Holds incense perfectly, though I have actually grown out of the incense stage.

Yeah...I like their Chardonnay...but I'm not an expert by any means. So...are you into those sticks that they have at Pier One now...it looks like burnfree incense?

straight up patron, that'll grow hair on your chest

A little tip on tequila "sipping". Slightly chill it, loose the shot glass and serve in a brandy snifter. Awesome! It's like comparing Asian food eaten w/ a fork vs. w/chopsticks, the latter being the best.

2 of my "faves" are San Matias Gran Reserva Anejo & Don Abraham Anejo, yum yum.

Cheers!

OK, since we're talking favorites here.

Favorite rum: Aniversario Pampero from Venezuela. YUM!
Favorite white "regular" rum: Appleton Estate White Rum

Uuuuuuh! good one.

I love rum, especially when acompanied by a cigar. Have you tried Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva? It never disappoints, me & Matusalem are best buddies.

Snob! I actually prefer "One Buck Upchuck"

Night Train, is also good if you're looking for a full-bodied red that has a Guns 'n Roses song named after it.

Depends on whether you're serving it with the Big Mac or Filet-o-Fish I guess.

Oh yeah, Strawberry Hill. If I recall correctly, Boone's Sangria is actually okay. 20/20 on the other hand...

Enjoy the smooth, sweet taste of...

The preferred drink of college freshmen everywhere. Tastes good going down, not so good going back up. One trip to the bathroom and you are scarred for life. Ah, memories.

That was the first stuff I ever tried, and I remember that day well, I was a teen visiting Chicago during xmas vacation and a young lady who's moms house my parents were at visiting offered me a glass of it.... 'course I was more interested in the girl then drinking at the time, but it was nice

for me the harsher times that resulted in praying to the porcelain god were caused by cheap tequilla, it took me a while but I eventually learned.... only drink the good stuff

only anejo now

Next time you have some Patron, try a slice of cucumber afterward, rather than a lime. It's actually quite good.
