he he he he he he

Chip would be so proud of you right now.

Oh, wait: I ate the pickle chips on my burger, so I guess that just leaves the nuclear poisoned dancing pickle over at Natomas Station.

Does Natomas Station rely on their own water plant? 'cause some of ya'all are getting kinda feisty today!!!

We stopped by here last night and boy am I impressed. This sammich shop is good, real good. And you know what else was really cool, the owner and staff are super nice. They said that have been busy all week, so hopefully that means they are going to last. Also, they are not expensive as some stated before. Prices are close to Togos but not above Quiznos. And they also are doing the cookie thing at this one. We will definately be back often.

Where is it? I have no clue where the Long Sandwich (whatever it was called) was.

In the same complex as Starbucks, Tahoe Joe's, etc.
Blue Ravine / Folsom Blvd. Well actually BR/Natoma Station, but you get the idea.

Yep, but it's on the other side of that shopping center, closer to Natoma Station and the Grand Salon, Periwinkle and Lieu's Chinese.

The Shopping center is broken up into a couple of sections. Starbucks, dentist, Subway in one section. Salon, Periwinkle, Mr. Pickles and Chinese in another section. (Each section has more stores than that, but those are the basics.)

Went today for lunch - the place was hoppin'. Sandwich was very yummy. If they ask you if you want their super-secret garlic sauce, your answer is "yes". Very friendly staff, festive atmosphere.

Back to beach hut deli

I think they are in danger of losing their streak of best sammich awards
I've been there 2ce in the last 2 weeks

the sandwiches are smaller - quite a bit smaller.
Now, in general, that's not a bad thing. But then prices should reflect it.

In addition, my wife got the Beach Bikini (turkey, cranberry, yada yada) and the bread was stale? crackerish in parts.

the wait was considerable, and the cleavage was negligible.

Not sure what's going on over there... but I hope they fix it soon.

That's it, I'm not going anymore. I hate waiting.

Haha, good point. That used to be the little bit of spice that made Beach Hut extra nice.

Mmmmmm.... Special Garlic Sauce!!

Haven't been to this one in Folsom yet, but we have a Mr. Pickles in Rancho Cordova near my work. It is very popular at the office. You can always tell when someone got food from there because of the garlic smell.
