Oh man, Scotts is great! Awesome service, nice bar, quality food. I personally don't eat most of their seafood, but they even have a killer burger!

I like the other Scott's. Must think about visiting. My birthday's in about a month and I want to try a restaurant out this way that I haven't yet visited (tend to do most of my "event" dining in Sacramento), but does it count since I've been to the other Scott's? I've been thinking Ballie's.

Kirala isn't anything special, IMO.

I wonder what restaurant this is. Is it the Cliff House? But it says it's clean... "Just Listed! This Absolutely Gorgeous Restaurant Is To Die For! You’ve Heard It Said Before, “Location, Location, Location” And This One Has It All. This Restaurant Is Perfect For Parties, Banquets, Stunning With Beautifully Landscaped Patio Areas In The Front And Back. There Is Seating Inside For 70, The Back Patio Has Seating For 100+, And Front Patio Has Seating For 35+ People. This Business Is Very Profitable And Is As Clean And Professionally Run As We’ve Seen In A Long Time. Very Often Reserved For Weddings, Birthday Parties And Intell Meetings. The Lease Is Assumable And Is At The Market Rate Of Comparable Other Restaurants In The Area. The Business Has A Beer And Wine License.

Reason For Sale: Business Is Family Run And Family Members Are Going In Different Life Directions.

Sale Price: 179,000 Or Best Offer"

I've been looking at some of the prices those places are selling for, and I agree that description does sound like The Cliff House - but for only $179,000 obo??

We can hope Cliff House is for sale and gets bought by someone who can afford to remodel or even rebuild the place from scratch.

It would be great to have one of the very best restaurants in the region at that location.
Some really cool high-end restaurants are going into Roseville.
Cena Di Mare should be one of the most impressive restaurants in the entire state.
Why should have anything less than that be at the great location Cliff House is using?

http://architecturet...Cena/index.html

QUOTE
Cena di Mare: 7,600 square foot (710 m²) restaurant with 1,100 square foot (100 m²) patio. Restaurant is being developed by Kobra Culinary Concepts, a subsidiary of Kobra Properties, which developed the popular nearby Crush 29. The restaurant is unique by having not one straight wall, meaning that all walls will be curved somewhat. It will also include Bellagio-style fountains correographed to music, but on a smaller scale. At an extraordinary cost of $10 million, it is the most expensive restaurant ever built in California. It's service will rival the world's best restaurants. Proposed opening Spring 2008.

Check out this one..Can anyone think of a "fast casual" Italian place that has only been open since last year? Goodfellas, perhaps?

dang it not them too!? ...that pic is definitely their place.... what a bummer

and wow a 10 year lease at that monthly rate - ouch. the developer of that area is going to price those folks right out of business, especially with Intel downsizing which was probably 70% of their business.
