A religious book says it so it's okay. Ask any jihadist bomber.

Well, if you don't believe in a god, then as far as you are concerned, someday you die, the end. But to those that do believe in a god, they are all convinced, that the non-believers will go to hell and suffer horribly until the end of time.
What I don't get is how do all of the different christian religeons feel. I'm pretty sure the Catholics feel they have it right, so all of the Protestants still don't have it right and are condemned to hell. I'm just not sure how the Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Church of God, Church of Christ, etc justify the differences in their christianity teachings.
I know some christians believe god touches their lives everyday and helps get through troubling times, while others believe god allows his children to have free reign over their own lives and that someday he will pass his judgement upon you (i.e.let you into heaven, or tell you to go to hell, literally)

Well for me, it's a matter if you rub it in my face out in public that matters, gay or religeous right. I don't like it when religeous peddlers come knocking on my door or when gay people go prancing around in public "saying look at me, look at me".

That's a good observation but I don't think I am being hypocritical. If I had started a thread titled "Q&A for the religious nut" then you would be correct. I have not drawn people into my beliefs by making a flagrant post of my belief. I would hardly say that I have been boasting in public about my beliefs because I don't splatter it all over someone's face.
My sig is very special to me, it was my grandfather's favorite passage from the Bible and became of great comfort to me when he was dying a slow, painful and drawn-out death. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, if the length of the sig is excessive I can pare it back. But please don't come down on me and accuse me of hypocrisyt. Look up the word and see if it still applies to my posts. And don't dare call me a jihadist - my religious attitude is one of peace.

Thank you for making my points above in a more succinct manner (and Warren G, you may want to look up the word succinct too)

Then pray tell, what do Catholics believe? Growing up as a Baptist, the Catholic kids in my neighborhood made it clear their version of God was the only right one and all others would go to 7734 (spelled upside down on an HP calculator).
Heck, it only took the Pope 400+ years to admit Galileo was right all along. Believe as the catholics or they will imprison, banish or kill you for heresy.

It sounds like you have put a little too much credence in what a group of neighborhood kids told you during your childhood. (Most Catholic kids I know don't have all the answers

The Middle Ages in many ways was not a shinning point in the history of the Church, but I can assure you that in the 21st century, the Church does not "imprision, banish or kill you for heresy." The Middle Ages was a LONG time ago.
I do not want ot further derail this thread. If you truly seek answers about the Catholic faith, may I suggest the following web site. It is very informative and accurate.

As to consulting my attorney, she knows and has yet to tell me otherwise. There has been no gag order.
OK A very serious question...am I honestly the only one who found unintentionally funny or am I just better at noticing hysterical double entendres?

Yes, succinct, like your signature on every one of your posts. Another example of your hypocrisy.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The phrase "Pot calling the kettle black" is an idiom, used to accuse another speaker of hypocrisy, in that the speaker disparages the subject in a way that could equally be applied to him or her.

This is one of the sickest and most disturbing comments I have read on this thread, and that's saying alot. What a good Christian you are DCMSS, what a way to emulate Jesus.
