as soon as the top 10 are named my friends and i each write down who we think will be the top 5. then we circle who we think will win the whole thing. we each put a dollar with our list and seal money and list in an envelope. someone keeps the stack of sealed envelopes until the night of the finale. then we open them all up and whoever has chosen the winner, gets all the money. if it is a tie, whoever had the most right in the top 5 wins. i have never won one, this could be my year!!!

They knocked out the right four this week.

That's an EMO guy, and THAT is why chris really doesn't like EMO boy/girl things!

Yea, what is EMO? I thought Emo e was a muppet or a teletubby or something.
I always associated it with the kids wearning black, with their hair in their eyes, head down, listening to songs about death, loss, sadness, no one understanding them, etc.
From Wikipedia:
Emo is also oftenly associated with a certain fashion. The term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts (sometimes with short-sleves) which often bear the names of rock bands (or other designed shirts), studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoes or other black shoes (often old and beaten up) and thick, black horn-rimmed glasses.[13][14][15] Emo fashion has changed with time. Early trends included straight, unparted hair (similar to that of Romulans and Vulcans in Star Trek), tightly fitting sweaters, button-down shirts, and work jackets.[citation needed] This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad.[16]
Another example of hair characteristic of emoIn recent years the popular media has associated emo with a stereotype that includes being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angsty.[17][18][19] It is also associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide.[20][21]
Criticism
As certain fashion trends and attitudes began to be associated with "emo", stereotypes emerged that created a specific target for criticism. In the early years of the "third wave", the criticism was relatively light-hearted and self-effacing. In ensuing years, the derision increased dramatically. Male fans of emo found themselves hit with homosexual slurs, largely a reflection of the style of dress popular within the "emo scene" and the purported displays of emotion common in the scene. Complaints pointed to the histrionic manner in which the emotions were expressed.[22]

I think Danny might be a little EMO but more Gay than anything, he has been offered a trip from Rosie on her Cruise Ship so that kind of tells a story in itself. My niece is EMO (emotional) she describes Danny as "He is Gay and he doesn't know it yet"
Kristy Lee is going home tonight and Ramielle is close behind based on last nights performances... I love Ramielle's voice but last night she really was boring. Kristy Lee's country version of "8 Days" was a train wreck...
David A missed a few words but America Loves him, Chickezee was great --- my Favorite and pick to win David Cook he has the "IT" factor he can sing anything put his twist on it and its awesome... Carly and Micheal I think don't belong in the competition it's American Idol....

David A will totally be fine this week, even though he forgot his lyrics. Chickezee (sp?) was AWESOME!! David H wasn't so great. I agree that Kristy Lee's version was not good. I still really like Jason Castro...but he needs to do a faster song or something...people may get bored with him. David Cook was good. Michael Johns was great! Carly was just ok.

Looks like we are on the same Idol page... My friend and I do a 1 out of 10 on every performance then we listen to the review and see if we change our minds and compare notes. We are pretty on with each other if you want to play write down your #'s and we can PM you next week and see... Just a fun thing once a week to do it's really the only TV I force myself to sit down and watch (well not force I really do enjoy it)....
