On the right side there is a different picture of Kacie with a red shirt. The video is under that picture.

It's on KCRA news, very little info other than she was found.

Yup.. that's exactly what I've heard too... this was a very interesting case... why is it being so vague on everything??

Probably because she ran away (again??) and the cops were right in that they had a hunch she wasn't abducted? I think her parents need to keep a tighter rope on this girl, especially if she only has the mental capacity of a 10 yr old.

Agreed. And the parents need to maybe measure their words a little more carefully in the future in light of this statement they made:
"We honestly believe that Kacie is being held against her will, possibly even being drugged, and no doubt is being exploited sexually".
Not quite sure what prompted that statement, but it seemed a little over-the-top at the time.

Maybe they found something on her myspace page or maybe something that went on in the past? Or maybe her "friend" who lied about things in the first place was in on something. Still a lot of weirdness about this tale.

Odd - it might be a typo but the article says "Kacie Klinnert, 17, had been missing since March 18. She was found at about 1 a.m. Tuesday."
That would be Tuesday morning - or over 24 hours ago. It's strange that all yesterday went by without any mention that she had been found. Maybe they meant *this* morning though (1 AM Wednesday)

The fact that we don't know why the mother made that comment doesn't mean there was no reason to make that comment. I'm sure we don't know everything about the case.

Very glad she is found though!
I recieved an email from Kacie's dad at 1:50AM (today) that she had been found by the FBI and was on her way home.
At 7:29, I recieved another stating that she was home and resting.
For all of you who helped us find her, thank you with all of my heart. All of your efforts saved her life. For those of you who are speculating about her running away, or her parents overreacting, I can only share that her parents can not further comment on Kacie's situation, but as soon as they are able to share more, they will.
In the meantime they are asking that all inquiries regarding this case be directed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation 916.977.2284
Thanks again, all, for bringing her home.
