it's almost 4pm.
I got released from work 30 minutes ago and I'm still sitting here wondering what the outcome is.
flipping a coin...
heads--it's a girl
tails--it's a boy
How long do you think it'll take her to get home and remember to let us all know?
***edited*** ok its now almost 430pm--I gotta get headed toward home. Ya all have a great weekend--and make sure you celebrate the weekend -and the baby news --responsibly!!

Is he heavily drinking or priming his shotgun?
I hear first time fathers of daughters tend to go a little bonkers for the first few days when they find out its gonna be a girl.
something about cursing their own past histories and wishing they didn't know as much as they do......about boys.......

That is so funny, the 1st thing he said was "I'm buying a shotgun!"
He is freaking out a little bit though. haahaa! I am happy though.

Tell Chris not to worry. Girls with involved fathers don't go quite so boy crazy. The theory is that when dad pays attention to them, they don't need that male attention quite so much.
Plus she'll have a big brother than can knock some heads if need be.

How exciting. Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations on the girl!
She will positively wrap Chris around her finger.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

I have two wonder girls and they are both my heart's delight.
I wouldn't change the fact they were girls for an instance. My youngest is a Tom Boy to the hilt. Throws a soft ball like a darned man!
And although they have me around their finger, they do not know it. That's the key.....don't let them know their power over you.
I love cherries too, but not to wear. Just to eat. Darn! Now I want a piece of cherry pie with vanilla ice cream on top.
Honey! Do we have any cheery pie in the house? (I know we don't because I'm the baker around here and haven't baked in a while. Maybe I'll make a run to Marie Calendar's...they have killer pies!)

huh...I don't think THAT can happen with a girl. One of the nice things about them when they are babies!
