Can't seem to edit. You can call and request a scooter. I did it yesterday!

I think 50cc 2-smokes are still legal but dang, that's a dinky bike.
You can get a 4-stroke metal body scooter made in India. I don't know anything about them.

Bajaj's are pretty decent Indian bikes, but if you get one make sure you change the plastic like tires before you ride it. Other than that they're pretty good.

I'm not giving up any registration secrets online... if you want to know I'll tell you some ways to do it in person. If I post how then everyone will want to do it and then the DMV might become wise to whats going on.

I was on Madison Ave and it just stopped. When I attempted to restart the engine, fuel started coming out - right under the plastic housing that the fuel filler neck comes through. I opened a small panel and there is a couple wires going to an electrical componet. It is leaking up under the plastic housing above the electrical comoponet. Between the electrical componet and the fuel filler neck (see arrow below).
I had to call my wife and a friend to come with the truck to get me and the scooter. I am glad I was in the right lane and could just push it onto Chicago (by Bella Vista High).

Dave, thanks for the link to the video and the acessories info.

oh crap, that sucks..... I'm not wholly familiar with the layout of a scooter, but it sounds like something's messed up with possibly the fuel filter or fuel injection electronics?
call the dealer asap, maybe they can send someone out to look at it - or at least send someone to pick it up - or they might have you drop it off but whatever the problem, they will fix it all for free, they are obligated to do so.
Good luck and keep us posted

Not to worry, did you just recently fill it up?

Unfortunately if it's what I think is wrong, the dealer can't officially fix it as it has to do with the charcoal canister and emissions evap. stuff. CA smog crap basically. If you have recently filled the scooter up when it was cold out and then throughout the day it sits in the sun the gas in the tank expands, that in turn dumps it into the charcoal canister, once the canister is full the scooter will not run anymore. On all of my newer bikes I have bypassed the charcoal canister and never had the problem since.
