And the NBA hip-hop thug culture is a destructive one.
If the NBA disappeared tomorrow, the vast majority of sports fans wouldn't be able to care less.
Now, the next thing we need is computerized balls-and-strikes radar in baseball. It's available. Home plate umpires have too much power to influence games.

Yes!!!
There is too much inconsistency in the strike zone. You never know what you are going to get.

Oh yeah... and to stay on topic. There is no doubt in my mind that game 6 was rigged.
It was one of the worst officiated games out there... and yeah... I am a referee.

You could just ask my Dad. He calls every pitch before the pitcher throws it. No wonder I can't stand the game.
(But I'm really looking forward the Yankees/Rangers game I'm going to later this month.)

Of course we can disagree. I'm just trying to give you some other thoughts to consider.
I just worry about my fellow Illini's getting hoodwinked by people who use words they want to hear.

Thanks for thinking of me, but I've had years and many different NBA fans debate this in front of me. I've even had a few pro sportswriters and sportscasters throw their opinions into the ring.
In the end, I don't really care about the NBA, but the game smelled really rotten to me.

If CW, Steve, CV and DrKos all believe the NBA is rigged, why were you all so eager to raise your taxes to build a new Arena for a league that is rigged?

It would be more than just an arena for the NBA.

If the Kings committed 54 fouls then they should be called for 54 fouls. There isn't cap on the number of fouls a team can have.
As a referee you call the game based upon what you see, nothing else.
Oh goodness. You said you played basketball. The swim move is using one arm to "swim" over the opponent, but the other arm pushes the defender's hip. It's a quick movement, which is why a lot of players get away with it. You can clearly see Kobe's offhand on Bibby's hip/back before he clocks Bibby in the face. Last time I checked, pushing off is illegal.
I'm just saying that it's highly unlikely that the Kings committed 54 legitimate fouls. That's outrageous, especially since the record in an NBA game is 66, and that game went to 5 overtimes!

meh, the GPA with that hip-hop thug Tiger Woods, is destructive to the youth of America
If the GPA disappeared tomorrow, the vast majority of sports fans wouldn't even notice, it's so dang boring and mindless, it is truely rotting the brains of Americans
...and then there are all those cases of people slipping into coma's while watching the games - its just way too dangerous

I get it right once in awhile.....
