Tonight is Insalata Caprese (with soy mozzarella).

That sounds awesome!

Night before last we did a (vegan, of course) meatball sandwich. We hollowed-out a sourdough round and filled it with meatballs, soy mozzarella, and a spicy marinara that my SO made. It was really good, so I'm suggesting the spaghetti & meatballs. letseat.gif
We're going to make homemade pizza tonight.

MMMMMMMMM that sounds good.

I'm approaching greatly that Vegetarian threshold (not vegan, I love cheese and eggs to much).

So, tonight is gonna be simple.

the kids will get their choice of hot dogs and chili--hot dogs and beans--or hot dogs and mac and cheese.

If they say hot dogs and chili --I might be willing to make some frys to go with it rolleyes.gif

I'm just not a fruit and cottage cheese type of guy. Now a tomato I could do.

Yep, in the USAF at lunchtime, we referred to beer at the NCO club as Hydraulic Sandwiches. laugh.gif

The Air Force invented this diet,
A fact which they hotly deny,
Of course they deny it,
For this is the diet,
That got the Air Force high!

The Liquid Diet works very well (I drink about a gallon of water a day).

But today is a Bagel with veggie smear kind of day.

Well, back to dinner, last night the wife voted for the omelet.

So tonight it's spaghetti and meatballs.

tomorrow night, her & our son are on their own, I'm going to a friend's Bon Voyage party.

I can't say I understand it, but I have a friend who owns a sailboat and will be leaving on a trip to travel the world, says he will come back "home" in 5 to 10 years and see who is still around.
I would rather be Backpacking

Yesterday morning I put the following in a crock pot:

1 chicken breast
2 chopped brats
chopped onion, garlic, jalapeno, and tomato
broth
mustard
brown sugar
pepper
brown rice
paprika
nutmeg
parsley
pinto beans

After 8 hours it was an awesome stew
