I have known Dino the owner of Texas West BBq for many years, going back to his first location on Fulton Ave. Not only is he a great guy, he is not a quitter per se. Oh and by the way folks... Kids under 12 can eat there free on Monday and Tuesday... Just take the skin off of the chicken and that can be pretty healthy.. and do water instead of the sodas

Amarin Thai. Bummer, that was good Thai food. Although, I did start selling out and heading up to GB Thai Bistro recently.

And Paradise Thai.
At least this should be good for Thai Siam, they were too close to Amarin.

Really? We had the satay once there and it was *horrible*
That was one of the driving factors for going to Thai Siam or GBTB (geebee teebee?). If we ever wanted Satay we thought Amarin's was garbage. Wonder if they just ran out that one night and had to hit the freezer Costco pack.
I like the plain white toast you get w/ Thai Siam's satay. It works so well I'm surprised I'd never seen it before.
I know Amarin's had their place up for sale forever. Wonder if they sold and we'll see something new, or if they just folded and we get another empty retail space.

Not only is it closed, they've boarded it all up.
Is the landowner not going to try and find another tenant?

I saw the sign is going up for the New location for Visconti's, can't wait to check out the new digs when they open up there.
