I went to Urban Dog today for lunch after reading this very topic and it was GREAT. I had the "Murieta" Frankfurter, yellow mustard, coleslaw, pickle, bbq salt and my friend had the Chicago dog which she loved.
The Owner and staff were very friendly and we will definitely go back.
Please give these guys a try and help support them, if you like it tell some friends.

We went there for lunch today too! It was very yummy. The dogs are so tasty, I almost didn't need anything on it. I had the Capytan, which was quite tasty. Definitely like what they've done with the place! Great addition to Folsom (though I don't think my figure could take going very often)

Grrrr. Went for lunch today and they were out of my fav -- the Govna. I'm just gonna have to go back tomorrow and try again.

My favorites are: the Govna, the Capytan, the Coney, the Calabrese (which I wish was a little more spicy) and the smoked beef spicy sausage (forgot the name).

What I wish would happen: Urban Dog, Manderes, Roma's, Extreme Pizza and a good baby back place would all share an outside patio. Then I can mix up my lunches and enjoy a nice beer all together. Wouldn't it be nice to have a Govna, a slice of Railroad and an Allagash for lunch?

hehe. $2.50 for beer is expensive - that's almost a six pack. smile.gif

I'd say she would be a date with good taste. tongue.gif

In a small cup - I've been there. Wish they'd offer more - for more - as I'd pay for it and drink it. smile.gif

Actually, I'm partial to the Allagash. But generally, ambers like Full Sail, Anderson. I also like Boddington's. In the winter, a nice Guinness will do.

But I'm more of a wine and liquor guy. I like my Gentleman Jack and Coke (on the side, please, never mixed) or a shaken Grey Goose (or the Russian vodka -- still can't say the name).

I actually haven't bought a six pack in years -- dunno what they cost now. smile.gif The only six pack I've bought recently is for root beer. Yummy.

I can't wait until they get the Italian Beef sandwiches. I was in Chicago last week and had one; what a treat!
