The grand opening was very nice and fun, although crowded. Sorry, John, that I was not on my toes! Dull-minded after a week's work. It's a nice theater, but we're still curious about what will happen to the "old" theater. It's closer to us, and I suppose it will be far less crowded. Better popcorn at the old than the new.
"Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident, teachers' unions have a long history of working against the interests of children in the name of job security for adults. And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.

She gave it only two stars.

Went there today for the first time with my kids to see Avatar. Wow, great movie and I like the theater very much. Workers were friendly and helpful.... Seats very comfy and stadium seating..... The exterior architecture reminds me of Graumans Chinese Theater down in LA......... Chris

saw the coverage of the grand opening and all the famous folks walking the carpet. if you were not invited to the opening does that mean you are not in the "folsom in crowd"

popcorn is bad where ever you go and eating lots will make you a death squad target over time

I've never been a member of the "in crowd", don't think I want to be.
But I'm not sure that was the only criteria for being invited, I think there may have been some random invites as well. I bet construction workers that built it wouldn't be considered a part of the "in crowd", but I bet they all got invitations, they might not have all showed, but I bet they all got invited.
I would rather be Backpacking
