Dead on! The Vikings made a lot of mistakes but should have won and would have if Bret had run on that play instead of trying to force a pass.
I guess I hope the Saints win the Superbowl since I really don't like the Colts but I don't have very strong feelings either way. I think the highlight of the game for me will be The Who at halftime.

Clearly Favre made a mistake in trying to make that throw across his body back over the middle, while rolling out to the right
Couple of points to consider, that receiver SHOULD have been coming back to meet the ball, as they are constantly taught to do when the QB scrambles. The defender steps in front of the reciever and makes the INT, this doesn't happen if the receiver is coming back to met the ball.
If Favre does run the ball on that play, there were 2 defenders on about the 30 yard line, so he probably could have gotten to about the 33 yard line, give or take a yard. This leaves them with about a 50 yard field goal. This is probably about a 50/50 chance at best, maybe.
Favre played great and the Vikings would have never been as close as they were had Favre not played as well as he did. If the Vikings had one less fumble on any one of those turnovers, the Vikings probably win the game.
The Vikings outplayed the Saints in the second half despite the ball bouncing the Saints way a couple of times. The Saints also got a few breaks on some questionable calls at the end of the game, that could have gone the other way and may have changed the outcome.
Maybe this year it was just the Saints destiny to be in the Superbowl. They are a good team and the got the breaks at the right times.
I do think the Colts will win the SuperBowl, unless the Saints can get pressure on Manning.
