I don't understand why Alex Smith is still here. How many second chances does the kid get? I just don't understand why nobody can see that the kid's not any good.

ESPN reporting Jimmy Raye has been fired! Now if we can start winning some games.....???though the schedule has Atlanta, Philadelphia up next, so we could be 0-5 and Singletary on the way out, his rah rah speech can only take you so far.

That is GREAT news! Grampa Jimmy seems to have an 'attack their strengths' approach. Yesterday was a prime example. You are facing a team with one of the best run-defenses around, but starting two rookie safeties. So, what's the strategy? Run the ball and don't throw over the middle. Brilliant!

The Niners definitely have their work cut out for them and Alex Smith just isn't cutting it. Their schedule doesn't get any easier with Atlanta next and then Philadelphia.
