It seems to me that there are a lot of storylines veering off without conclusion. I wish they'd close the loop on a lot of them (Claire, the monster, the mystery metallic object, the location of the distress signal, etc. What is this, the Sopranos?

Last night gave more questions than answers. The whole Kate storyline could have been done at a later date if you ask me.

I concur.........how in the heck are they giong to bring a toy airplane into this storyline???

I would have rather seen Hurleys flashback or the Dad/kid/dog one than another of Kate's.......I'm just going to hang on to hope that the writers will not dissapoint me in the end!!

Does anyone know, is this going to be a one season deal (like 24 should have been) or an ongoing series?

Before Asthma Girl and Kate are eaten by the monster, I think they should mud wrestle. (of course after the bikinis come to life)

Or perhaps a contest to see which of them can get rid of their tan lines the fastest.

Son of a B....there are a lot of commercials in that show.

You betcha -- taping and watching it afterwards is a far better and more efficient plan. As the series gets more popular, I've noticed less content and more commercials.

The next episode doesn't have the princess getting stolen! I think she is simply going to be burnt to a crisp since she's too dumb to realize that the UV rays are more dangerous that close to the equator.

The gratuitous sun bathing and Kate jumping into the water in her undies aren't really essential to the storyline. And, if they're going to do that, WHY keep Sawyer in his jeans for the swim??!! Take 'em off. lmaosmiley.gif

I agree with the posts that wonder what's up with the story lines that go nowhere. Polar bear anyone????

I will count myself in with those that were sorely dissapointed (so far) to see that toy airplane as the thing that Kate went so far as to:

Get together with some gang of thieves
Get into a physical relationship with one of the thieves
Get hired at a bank that they'd all rob some time later (weeks? months?)
Go through with the robbery to the point where she ends up shooting all her fellow robbers and has the bank mgr open a safety deposit box at gunpoint...

....for a toy airplane? This better be one freakin' awesome toy...

Don't even say that "24" should have been a one year deal.

24 is a great program and a great story line.

Jack is the best. Keep this going.....

That starts Sunday with 2 hours, then Monday with another 2 hours. Maybe we should start a 24 thread?

The whole group on the island seems quite unconcerned that the Claire girl got kidnapped by some guy already living on the island. Also, I am betting UFOs become a part of this show soon.

Yeah, That pod they found is probably something that has to do with aliens. I have a feeling that in the end everyone will still be alive.
