dude but I think you are confused. Your post makes no sense whatsoever, how can you possibly claim that there are men who have sex (engage in relations) with other men but don't consider themselves gay or bi? I got news for them, they're delusional or in denial because they are indeed gay and/or bi, their actions indicate that despite what they may be saying to you. Straight men do not have sex with other men, trust me on this. Bi men, will have same sex. Gay men will have same sex, straight men will not.
Yes if a priest is celibate, is attracted to women, but never has sex, that still makes him straight.
Again, I think you are confused about differentiating a persons desires versus a person acting on desires. Not having sex does not define a persons sexuality.
A woman who dates men but doesn't have sex is still straight.
It's odd how you seem to think if a person abstains from sex that defines their sexuality. But yet if someone has sex with the same sex, that doesn't define their sexuality if they only do it once in a while...
Straight people don't have sex with each other and if they don't have sex that doesn't make them gay.
You are misreading what he is saying. Swmr is not saying they are not gay or bi. He is saying those men do not consider themselves gay or bi. Big difference.

And they tried to get rid of homeschooling in CA...go figure
Seriously? They were actually considering banning home schooling? Cripes, talk about gov't oppression, that's very scary.

They can be as delusional as they want, they are bi or gay if they are having gay sex. How could anyone consider themselves straight if they're having gay sex? That sounds like a mental problem to me.
I didn't get all that from his post especially when he tries to cite comparisons with a priest and a single woman.

Also, it pisses me off that some people are touting this as a gay history bill, when the bill clearly states that it is to include lessons on LGBT people in the SOCIAL STUDIES curriculum. In fact, the only place that it even mentions the word "history" is:
1 SECTION 1. Section 51204.5 of the Education Code is
2 amended to read:
3 51204.5. Instruction in social sciences shall include the early
4 history of California and a study of the role and contributions of
5 both men and women, Native Americans, African Americans,
6 Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, European
7 Americans, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans,
8 persons with disabilities, and members of other ethnic and cultural
9 groups, to the economic, political, and social development of
10 California and the United States of America, with particular
11 emphasis on portraying the role of these groups in contemporary
12 society.
Of course, I do understand that history is a big part of social studies, but still. So now kids are going to be learning about LGBT people the same way they learn about Native Americans? Really?
Sigh...

That being so just look at the hoops the home schoolers have to jump through..... Good thing the state is watching over them home schoolers and not those parolee's as we know the home schoolers are so much more dangerous....! This is interesting. When you say straight sex are you refering to a man and woman having intercourse?

I believe she is referring to people who are really gay but get married to members of the opposite sex (like the governor of New Jersey (?) - can't remember his name right now). They get married, have kids, live a "straight" life but really are gay.

As a woman, if I accomplish something that is history book worthy, I wouldn't want it stated that I was the first woman to do it - I would want it stated that I was the first person to do it. Quantifying me by my sex demeans my accomplishment.

Maybe I don't understand what is the definition of what gay is? Can you share your definition?

We all have the same definition. It is someone who sleeps who others of the same sex. Swmr appeared to be pointing out that not all gay men actually believe they are gay. What they themselves believe does not change who they are though.
