- same old boring fried-food menu, i.e. don't go for the food
- ridiculously long waits (until things calm down, anyway), so don't go for the service
- country music bands - fine if you're into that (but I'm not)
- supposedly sexy girls - a matter of personal taste
In short, nothing to interest me. But because it's new, and a chain, it will be heavily frequented for the first few months. That's how Folsomites roll. It's "the next distraction".
Now, here is my impression AFTER walking through the place tonight (figured we might as well, since my wife and I were strolling around Palladio after watching the outdoor concert):
- I get what it's about now. It's essentially a really big bar. I suppose it works, at that level.
- It wasn't my scene, but I can see how some people would like it.
- The music was too loud for conversation.
- Can't comment on the food, as we didn't order any.

Where is Gordan Ramsey when you need him? ....."Piss off"We made the mistake of going over the weekend. Yes, they were serving a limited menu and by lunch time on Sunday they had ran out of chicken strips, fries and hamburgers but they didn't let us know until 1 hour after we ordered (not exaggerating). Half of us ate and half of us didn't. We'll definitely wait awhile to go back, they need to work out the kinks. Sounds like the kitchen was an unorganized mess. The wait staff seemed very stressed.

NO, the male employees were not required to create a FB page to apply, only females. The male employees ALL wear a pair of jeans, NOT shorts, with a short sleeved tee shirt......
My beef (hahaha!!!) with the place was mostly that a new restaurant should not open with any "kinks", those are to be worked out BEFORE the grand opening, during what is typically called a "soft opening" (a couple of days of practice serving to friends of employees, families, and then the press and local big wigs who will spread the word about what a great place it is) THEN, it opens to the ever critical public. TK did not prepare staff, nor managers, IMO, to open correctly and that spells doom to me. They did not have a soft opening so no practice, those employees were NOT ready and we were there on day 5......
The sexism that is going on at that place was the last straw on top of our horrible experience.......what a disappointment, too bad.......

To be fair, it's all about perspective. Unequal clothing does not mean unequal attraction or sexiness. As I have overheard family and friends mention when I was dragged to a country concert, the females I know would much rather see a country boy in, as they say, butt-hugging jeans and a fitted T-shirt than they would shorts and a tank top....

So, in that respect, jeans and a T-shirt get the same response as daisy-dukes and cleavage. It's like the old cartoon that shows a husband fantasizing and it is about his wife in lingerie, while the wife's fantasy shows him cleaning.

The service was decent, not great, but not horrible either... The food was a little better then I expected, had the pulled smoked chicken sandwich with fries. It was good but it would have been better if it had not been left under the heat lamp a bit too long, not a major deal, it went great with the mason jar beer. The only downside I'd say was it was a bit expensive, I was surprised to find the beer was ten bucks
All in all it was nice, it's a bar with a better then average bar food - I'd like to try one of the entree's next time, they looked very promising.
Looking forward to checking out a live show there sometime in the future.

Nightclubs and bars are all about sexism. Women 1/2 off drinks. Woman no cover charge. Women this...women that....They know the guys are the ones that will come in and drop $$$ to see the women. It's a business deal.

I won't spend a single dime at this restaurant, just like I haven't spent a single dime at Hooters - ever. Not the image and social mores I want to support. The whole Whiskey Girls thing is truly disgusting.
Sexism is alive and well. Treating women as if they are just sex objects is alive and well. Promoting trashiness is alive and well. Gag.

Now I see makeup for girls in the stores! Little girls makeup! I’ve seen little girls out with their mothers, with face makeup on and they are only about eight years old! Sixteen year olds are now wanting "Boob Jobs"! For crying out loud!
It’s getting be way too much and I hate it! It’s made many men lose respect for women and they are only regarded as sex objects. What is sickening, is that some women love to be considered sex objects. Being used just for the personal pleasure of a man, is OK with them.
What happened to LOVE and respect????

kind of a double standard, all this talk about women being sex objects, blah blah blah yet the biggest movie this weekend was"magic mike" all my girlfriends were going crazy over this stupid movie...I absolutely hate the way our society is trying to turn our sweet little girls into sex objects with painted faces and clothing, one would normally see on an eight teen year old.

Dude, women are just as bad as us, but they are a lot more discrete then us guys, that's how they get away with it.
