Haha.. funny how peoples tastes can be so different.

Whenever I'm watching a REALLY bad movie, or hear a REALLY bad song, I can't help but think.. "Wow, this is somebody's _favorite_ song, how sad"

Yeah, taste accounts for a lot. There are many pictures that I think were absolutely wonderful, that a lot of people seem to think were horrible.

Dune
Blade Runner
Seven

As for bad films, I've been lucky enough to completely avoid most of them. So, the worst films I've NEVER seen:

Ghost Dad
Leonard Part 6
Glitter
Battlefield Earth

And the number one all time bad film (which I'm proud to say I own on Laserdisc):

COOL AS ICE

IPB Image

I've tried to watch it, but never made it through more than 15 minutes or so (I have a weak stomach).

A classic line from that film - Ice says to some chick, "Drop the zero, and get with the hero."

Try that one out next time your trolling for babes. Good Luck!

The worst movie of all time is SPY KIDS 3D: GAME OVER. When I went to see it besides a crappy 3d movie and takes the Spy Kids story down some dumb idea, there was really no plot except the message of family. Also what was dumb was Sly Stalone's alter computer programed igo's. eek.gif

That move was profoundly depressing. You could tell that Ricardo Montalban was not well at all, so in the movie he's in this hi-tech turbo wheelchair thingy, and basically they had to CGI a body for him. sad.gif

speaking of depressing things, we could tell there was something terribly wrong with Gene Siskel when he selected Babe: Pig in the City for his 1998 favorite movie of the year. This was the year of Shakespeare in Love, Saving Private Ryan, Truman Show, Life is Beautiful, etc.

He died from a brain tumor a few weeks later...Feb 21, 1999. RIP

For those into Hollywood lore, one of the worst movies ever made is probably one none of us will ever see.

It was a 1972 Jerry Lewis film, his first attempt at drama, called "The Day the Clown Cried". In it Lewis (who also directed and financed it) plays a German clown named Helmut Doork who is sent to Auschwitz and entertains children as they are sent to gas chambers.

Lewis apparently was quite proud of it, and he showed an unedited rough cut to only a small handful of people, all of whom were dumbfounded by the poor taste of the movie and how amazingly bad it was.

After this, the film never went into final editing and production and Lewis locked the film away and refuses to show it or even talk about it and it's a sure bet that no one will ever see it, at least while Jerry Lewis is still alive.

It's the Holy Grail of bad movies.

Dude,

Rent "Naked Lunch." puke.gif I guarantee you'll change your mind! Ya gotta be old enough, though, 'cause I think it's rated R or NR or something like that. I rented it back in 1992, so the details are a little fuzzy. But I remember some of the scenes, which is why I ranked it my #1 worst movie ever.
