BJ's
Gold Miner Cafe
Mark's Sports bar & grill
Mimi's cafe
Mooney's
Stagecoach Grill
there are likely others, but this is from looking at places on the folsomliving website under "Restaurants, American"
I also don't know if any of them have a burger on the menu, but my guess is they do.
I haven't been to Island's in a long time, I haven't probably ever ordered a burger from IHOP either. Don't know if Erine's of Lake Tahoe has a burger or not, but I've never had one there either.
Is anyone game for burger tasting on Monday, Sept 14, or am I the only one?
If no one is game, maybe I'll just have to grind up a good well marbled ribeye and grill my own at home.
EDIT: I don't remember if I tried a burger at Early Toast or not. another thought could be Ab's bar.

Hi Bill,
I can likely do lunch on the 14th - gimme a remind yell that morning (davburr@yahoo.com)
about your list... here's a few of my notes...
BJ's - they make an excellent burger, try the California burger sometime
Gold Miner Cafe - have not tried lunch there but all their breakfast dishes are very good
Mark's Sports bar & grill - they make an average burger, I rate it just ok
Mimi's cafe - bland burger, completely forgettable
Mooney's - tried to check their menu on their websites, something is VERY wrong with their link.
Stagecoach Grill - went years ago, it was pretty good, bbq'd right there in the back
Early Toast - haven't tried yet but to be honest.. a breakfast place serving a good burger?
Ab's Bar - closed, no longer in business

I just checked, yeah google has a misspelled version that takes you to a "er, a different type of dining entertainment website", but this link should work OK for ya.

The google map link where restaurant is spelled "restrauant" (note missing r) takes you to some "shall we say, lingerie type website".

So it's Mooney's at noon today.
I'll be there. I can't see my 10:40 doctor's appointment running so long that I'm late, but if I'm late, that's why.

I didn't know they made burgers. What is it, a hamburger patty slapped between 2 slices of cheese pizza, MMMM, that would be tasty.

Says their service is really slow.
Not sure if this is a wise choice for lunch hour.
Anyone been there lately and know if the service is really that slow?

That place is definitely on the list, I just find it hard to order a burger there when they have such great pizza

Maybe they should do all our orders, so that it is not a hassle.
