All right, You guys do a review of the burger, I'll do a review of the salad or if they have it, a veggie burger.

The Kobe Cheddar cheese burger was good, but huge.
It also was more a "California food" type burger, which isn't my preference, so while it was very tasty, as a burger, I can't rate it real high. The focacia bread was good, but too filling, I want a nice light & airy white bread bun for my burgers.
The "greens" were OK, but those fancy leaf lettuces lack the crispy crunch of good ole iceberg lettuce. The dressing was like a honey mustard, tasty, but still not what I think of when it comes to burgers. the kobe patty was tender, but well done, I would have preferred it a little less cooked so as to retain more moisture. It came sliced in 1/2 so both pieces had that pizza slice triangle shape (must be a mental think at a pizzeria, they only know one shape). I ate my second half with out the bread and the patty with melted cheese was good just that way as well. Personally, I won't order it again, I'll stick with pizza the next time I visit classico. Or ask if they can make it my way, 2 cheese pizza slices sandwiching the meat, maybe a little extra marinara sauce on the meat it self.

BTW, nice seeing everyone again. Dude, we waited a little bit to see who showed before deciding on where to go that was open. Sorry if you showed up a little late and no one was there.
I would rather be Backpacking

I concur with BillZ review except two points.

A) the sauce was rather tasty but overly hidden by the dryness of the foccacia bread

B) The onions were very strong (red onions at that) and further hindered a balanced flavor.

On another note--I was very pleased they serve italian strawberry soda. it was yummy.

Sorry Mylo, I think you over rated this burger.

maybe a 3 outta 5

Service was prompt and the waitress ( could she have been expecting us?) was very attentive.

This is basically the same reason I gave the BSB burger higher marks than Karen's.

Has anyone here been to Morton's in downtown for their 13 oz burger? It is well worth the drive. The burger somehow stays hot for the entire 20 minutes it takes to eat it. I have never experienced that anywhere else.

I really like Flaming Grill, but you're practically forced to sit outside, and I don't care for that.

I started near the beginning, not realizing how long it was. Some of the early posts in 2008 could have been written yesterday. I finally checked to see how long this thread actually was. Wow! I decided to skip from abt 25 to the end and it still only went to 2009. By the way , Early Toast does do a pretty good burger. Mooney's can be very good, though they are inconsistent and you have to fight them to get a burger cooked enough (for me med to med well). Lets update this topic.

If you want the "Current" best burger in town you have to stop by Samuel Hornes Tavern and try the "Johnny Cash Burger"!

Bacon and Cheese and homemade BBQ Sauce with Bourbon and Espresso!

Everyone I've ever taken there has proclaimed: "This is the Best Burger in Folsom!"

That's just their opinion though - so try it for yourselves...
