The Five Guys that I went to, near Nellis AFB, NV, had potatoes from Idaho. Lots of them, bags stacked up make an aisle for the customers.
Why do you hate America?!?!?
American "cheese" is NOT cheese. It is a processed cheese like food product often called plastic cheese. A patriot would instead request a Tillamook cheese from Oregon or something like cheddar from the land of cheese-heads (Wisconsin).

And it is too cheese, the additives keep it consistent and make it better for cooking, so it melts and flows smoothly instead of sweating and getting grainy and slimy like your average expensive cheese. Don't fear the technology, it's here to help you!

It's a $3 hamburger. If you want supposedly pure and yet also mysteriously consistent and homogenous expensive-name-brand cheese, go to a sit-down restaurant and have an $8-$12 hamburger.

American "cheese" is a processed product that cannot legally be called "cheese." It can be called "cheese product" or "processed cheese." It is not "cheese" and the taste... well, just yuck. It surprises me that a company like In-N-Out, which prides itself on high quality, uses this processed product. No can do.

I don't like "processed cheese food" either. Give me a slab of cheddar or Swiss any day.
Didn't realize how serious burgers are in this town - 44 pages worth of discussion. Wow!

I finally had this burger a few weeks ago, and I agree, it was AWESOME!!If you want the "Current" best burger in town you have to stop by Samuel Hornes Tavern and try the "Johnny Cash Burger"!
Bacon and Cheese and homemade BBQ Sauce with Bourbon and Espresso!
Everyone I've ever taken there has proclaimed: "This is the Best Burger in Folsom!"
That's just their opinion though - so try it for yourselves...
Had a fun time at the tavern as well.

For EDH, (I know not Folsom) but the pub burger at Kinnee O'Reilly's was very, very good and so was their corned beef burger. Of course they taste even better with a pint of Guinness.

I haven't had the corned beef burger, but I know the corned beef is delicious. I'll have to go check it out. I've been on a burger kick lately.Davburr invited me to the Tavern and totally agree the JC burger is a great burger plus great service and if you want a brew, well they have that too.

And of course Relish Burger Bar, next door, is great too.
On a side note, does anyone know what they are building to the east of Kinnee O'Reilly's complex? (edit) I heard it's going to be a bank.

In-n-Out is my quick fix. I think Smash Burger is a cut above In-n-Out but I will definitely have to check out this Johnny Cash Burger that everyone is raving about.

I went back to Relish Burger in EDH a few weeks ago, and I have to admit, I still prefer Samuel Horne's burger.
My personal favorite that I get every time I'm at Sam Horne's is the Cootie Burger with a side of Chili Cheese fries.... soooooo very good with an ice cold Pliny.... can't wait to get back to town to have one!
