Ambassador resigns over "Trump lies."

Oh, how embarrassing!

http://www.newsweek....-europe-1002841

The U.S. ambassador to Estonia is resigning in frustration at President Donald Trump’s jibes at America’s European allies.

Ambassador James D. Melville Jr. revealed in a Facebook posting that Trump’s comments about Europe had led him to bring forward his retirement.

ANOTHER utter Trump failure.  :yikesss:

Now, other companies, including the legendary Indian Motorcycle company is moving overseas,

due to Dumbo's insane tariffs on our allies.

Doubled down on stupid.         :loco:   :newyear:

Another US motorcycle company considering moving production overseas

http://thehill.com/p...uction-overseas

Minnesota-based Polaris acknowledged on Friday that it is considering moving some production of its Indian Motorcycles overseas amid concerns over new tariffs from Europe.

The acknowledgement from Polaris comes days after Wisconsin-based Harley-Davidson announced that it would shift

some of its production abroad due to the European tariffs.

The European Union announced that it would impose duties on a range of American products,

including motorcycles and bourbon, after the Trump administration moved to slap stiff tariffs on

steel and aluminum imports from Canada, Mexico and the European Union.

I see you weren't paying attention. US motorcycle ridership is way down. Particularly bad is that there are far, far fewer millenials riding bikes.  For years, Indian and HD went after affluent, older riders. They neglected the younger potential riders. They have recently made a move towards entry level bikes, but it is too little too late.  That is why they are moving, not the tariffs from a week ago.

Strange "Sonic Attacks" of US Diplomats abroad.

These mystery sounds are known to cause brain damage.      :lmaosmiley:

Gee, I wonder if this affected Trump in Singapore??         :cuss3:

Trump arrived in Singapore amid fears of 'sonic attacks' that have plagued US diplomats abroad

http://www.businessi...se-alarm-2018-6

  • A State Department diplomatic advance team security agent reported hearing an unusual sound he believed was similar to what was experienced by U.S. diplomats in Cuba and China who later became ill before trump got to Singapore to meet Kim Jong Un.

  • The incidents have become a new source of anxiety for U.S. officials working overseas and their families — one that remains shrouded in mystery because of investigators' inability to say what or who is responsible for the unexplained incidents that started more than 18 months ago.

Raj Shah and Sarah Sanders the latest to abandon the sinking Trump Titanic.

Even Scott Pruitt is in trouble.

EPA ethics official pushed for Pruitt investigations

And . . .

President Trump has lost the vast majority of Tier One staff members

https://www.brooking...-staff-members/

Of these twelve positions within the Trump Administration, a full two-thirds have left the White House, and with the recent revelation that the Legislative Affairs Director, Marc Short, will be leaving this summer, 75 percent of the president’s most senior aides will have departed within the first 18 months of the administration. In some instances, a single position has turned over a full two times or more (e.g., Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy National Security Adviser, and National Security Adviser). The three remaining Tier One aides within the Trump team are White House Counsel Don McGahn (who has reportedly threatened to leave), Cabinet Secretary Bill McGinley and the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, Kevin Hassett.

Another Trump FAILURE:          :headbang:

The US Chamber of Commerce - - generally a Republican, business-supporting lobbying group - - is opposing

the Trumpster's tariff policy.

Looks like Trumpster has alienated about every sector of the US and foreign governments.  :CRAZYLOCO:

Chamber of Commerce launches campaign hitting Trump on tariffs

http://thehill.com/h...-tariffs-report

The campaign launching Monday will focus on how Trump’s tariffs targeting goods from China, Canada, Mexico and the European Union could affect each U.S. state, Reuters reported.

For example, South Carolina could see $3 billion worth of exports targeted by retaliatory tariffs, the Chamber told Reuters.

The Chamber has regularly been an ally to Republican presidents, lobbying for lawmakers to back the GOP tax law last year

Article:  "The Left needs to face reality:  Trump is winning".  Great, truthful article below.  I would tell Lib-leftists here to read it, but their reading comprehension seems to be lacking these days.

Joe, trying to educate Liberals is akin to expecting miracles... don't hold your breath. People like LittleVinnie don't want to know the truth because it destroys their false narratives. It's a sad, childlike existence

Ambassador James D. Melville Jr. appointed by Barack Obama...........  Nuff said, Snowflake lasted longer than most.....   Pure political play....  Now he will get invited to more cool liberal parties in DC, NY, and CA for his "activism".

Good clarification, Chris. LittleVinnie's reading comprehension appears to be very poor, which is why we are constantly correcting him or adding proper context to his rantings and ramblings. Sad that some adults can't MOVE ON and deal with reality without whining 24/7.

Saw this interesting piece this morning.

Apparently The Orange Menace wanted to invade Venezuela!

(Can't make this stuff up, folks!  -

From the ever-reliable Fox News!  - ( Let's see if it gets the "fake news" treatment.   :haha: )

Trump pressed aides on Venezuela invasion, US official says

http://www.foxnews.c...a-invasion.html

In an exchange that lasted around five minutes, McMaster and others took turns explaining to Trump how military action could backfire and risk losing hard-won support among Latin American governments to punish President Nicolas Maduro for taking Venezuela down the path of dictatorship, according to the official. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the discussions.

But Trump pushed back.

                :eehee:                             :shoot:

The next day, Aug. 11, Trump alarmed friends and foes alike with talk of a "military option" to remove Maduro from power. The public remarks were initially dismissed in U.S. policy circles as the sort of martial bluster people have come to expect from the reality TV star turned commander in chief.
