With all that money around, I'm surprised there aren't more retailers chomping at the bit to get in. Perhaps they are concerned that a lot of the $107,000 annual income goes toward the mortgate for the $600,000 houses.

I'll say this much. GGP is one of the top 2 or 3 Mall REITs in the country. With them doing the development, I think we'll be pleased with the final result.

Okay fine...the "Gourmet Grocery" has been mentioned on this forum already. There is a "bookstore" chain that isn't currently in Folsom, but in just about every other major city. And the "Cinema" is from the bay area and I have never heard of it before. That is all I know, and that should help you figure out who is coming.

I'll take a shot on those:
Whole Foods
Barnes and Noble
Brenden Theatre- if you go to their site you will recognize this guy from the Kings games. He has theatres at the palms and sits with the Maloofs

Very solid guesses! I think you may be onto it.
Aren't you the one who called me a jeky because I thought Whole Foods would fit in well at the Palladio. I think you also called my comments "smart arse".
Guess I might be right.
This was just a month and a half ago. Are you changing your tune?

Wouldn't it be better yet ( or best ) where super Walmart is proposed ???????????

Better because then Super WalMart could not be built... or better because Whole Foods would do more business in this location?
Isn't the Super WalMart going to be over 100,000 sq ft... while the Whole Foods would be near 50,000 sq ft. Whole Foods would be rather small for the pad that the Super WalMart is planned.
Honestly... I think the Whole Foods will do better at the Palladio.

Being possibly correct has nothing to do with the fact that you were jerky and you made smart arse comments. Those two issues have nothing to do with each other.
I re-read my comments... and saw nothing wrong with them. I make a speculative point that Whole Foods would fit in well at the Palladio. Sorry you felt different.

Again though, looks like you may be right.
