This is the website that wants you to vote for the worst person and that is what is happening....

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Yep, that's how Sanjaya and Antonella are staying on.

Melinda Doolittle's got my number. Her performance this week was outstanding!

I hate that VFTW website. I think that is SO mean. Have you seen their history? They have had a pretty strong presence in the last few seasons.

I can see the show doing away with the call in and let the 3 judges decide if it keeps going this way.

Or at least let the 3 judges make the final decision...

Naw, don't leave it to the judges. Keep culling people. I'm waiting for a manageable crowd, then I'll vote.
"Sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident, teachers' unions have a long history of working against the interests of children in the name of job security for adults. And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.

Down to an hour show on both Tue and Wed. At least a little more manageable to watch.

Did everyone enjoy Kelly Pickler's appearance last week? I wonder what she spent her money on?

It wasn't on a hairstylist!

I have Kelly Pickler's CD... and after her appearance last week.. I think she's going to try and become the new Dolly Parton...

I mean the hair... the boobs...

Looks like the kid porked up some.... I think she was such a cute thing before and now she looks much older than her age....

she can still sing though... have you folks seen her video on comast on demand... she has the old look still in that video...

That was the most polished and professional performance I've seen on Idol. She is a pro, though, almost unfair to put some of those kids up against her.

She had a kind of Anita Baker meest Sarah Vaughan thing going.

Welll done.

Yeah, I missed part of her performance, but Jesse said it was the most flawless performance he's ever seen on American Idol. I like her, but I just like Lakisha a bit more. I like Jordan too, but I'm afraid she's just too young to go far.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Interesting, I think she had that Sheryl Crow/Post Partridge Family-Pre LA Law Susan Dey thing going on.

I can see that, but it may be closer to Jackay meets Mahalia Jackson (or Latoya).

Steve, you may huve just hit why I like her so much! I love Mahalia Jackson. I so tried to love Paris last year because I love Sounds of Blackness, but she didn't channel Ann Nesby enough for me.

ps - did you like Oliver's outfit last night?

He was quite fetching in his corset and thigh-highs.

Wait, did you mean his outfit at the bowling alley?

Yes, very Kramer-meets-Greg Brady.
