I used to live in that house last year. from about late april to mid july. then i put myself into rehab on july 26th up in the napa valley. but yea, i know what really happened there, and the news paper article barely touches it. i feel horrible tho for the neighbors having to witness all that tho. i still keep tabs on the tweakers i used to party with up there and now im told theres a new "Mansion" in Cameron Park. some 52yo w/ a huge Ranch and multimillion dollar home too. god hopes he comes to his senses before the cops raid his house. and about roy, he was a great guy, he just let the drugs consume him, people would purposely O'D him to sleep so they could funk up the house, steal, and throw parties. i attached some photos. you'll see the custom prized chandelier, his prized Steinway and Sons piano, the very large kitchen(was dirty in that pic) and the family room w/ soaring ceilings(about 22ft i think). that house was a mammoth. and the amount of technology in it amazed me. theres a panic button in the master bedroom that turns on every single light in the house. im done!

Incredibly sad what drugs do to people. Not only to Roy, but to all the tweakers who have no problem taking advantage of him and ruining it for the neighbors.

Don't feel sorry for Roy! Feel sorry for his neighbors and his poor family that had to finally cut him out of their lives. Can you imagine what this is doing to them....."uh gee ya I haven't talked to you in years but I read that article about your meth head father........" Do you think they will change their names and move to mars.....pluto?

I do feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for anyone who is addicted to drugs.

I don't feel sorry for him that people are taking advantage of him and ruining his house and neighborhood. I feel sorry for him as a human being whose life is out of control and drug addled.

Yes, I feel sorry for his family, too.

If your father/mother/best friend/child became addicted to drug wouldn't you feel sorry for him? Or would you just write them off just as losers who no longer deserve compassion?

Check back in when you get back from work. We are all eager to hear from one of "Roy's Boy's". I am so sorry you found that awful influence at such a young age. Are you clean now? Isn't one of your recovery steps to make amends with people you have hurt? So maybe you should tell the police everything you know, so they can get that guy out of their neighborhood. Kids walk by that house everyday Kyle.....help them!

Yes I would help a family member that had drug problems. But obviously they have to want help. According to the bee article, he was asigned rehab as part of hill probation, and he never went. I think jail would be the best place for him. He could get clean and it's full of men. Once he get's passed the DT's he'll think he's in Disneyland. The meth can't be good for his HIV infection can it? They have doctors that take care of the prisoners, don't they?

You're right in that they need to want to get better before you can help them. But before they get to that point, I'll still feel sorry for them. My sister's clinically psychotic and an alcoholic. She has no desire, at this point, to help herself, but I still feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for her that alcohol makes decisions for her and that she can't take care of her psychosis, mainly because of her addition to alcohol.

Regardless of this guy's drug addiction, he's breaking the law and needs to be dealt with.

Does anyone remember the neighborhood in Orangevale (or Citrus Heights or somewhere) that sued a neighbor because of problems like these? That could be a solution.

Now that's an idea....sue him. Maybe that will help. I think someone who lives in that house could afford to pay his neighbor's lot's of money for the stress he's caused them

Jan Scullys Nephew lived in that house as well. hes a tweaker...i would know, im a former one, 6 months and 17 days sober now.

Is that true? Is that why Roy has gotten away with all of his illeagal activities for soooo long?

! So I haven't seen anything else in the paper and nothing at all on tv....so what? The SAC BEE puts it on the front page and then what? Poof....all the problems on Woodsmoke are fixed. Gee thanks sac bee. Here's your award for making a light fluff piece about a dangerious man into a joke. Well done, because any meth head who didn't know of a great place to stay for free with all the drugs they could want....now they do!

Scully has a family member that is a tweek? That explains all the compasion given to the criminals by the Sac County DA's. The media coverage and the attention the house is receivng on this web site might help put an end to this guys parade.

Nice job on your clean time. Keep it up!

I just can't believe that Jan Skully would let this happen. Maybe she isn't close with her family, and isn't aware of the fact that her nephew is a meth head. OR maybe the kid's not really related to her. It wouldn't be the first time that a meth head lied.

I thought that there could be arrests for "disturbing the peace"? If there are parties going on all night, and police are there everyday.. there must be some way there could be an arrest that will stick. Sure would be nice to hear the Police side to this situation.. like tell us why legal issues aren't working, what have they done to deal with this. It all over the Sacramento Bee... and yet we hear nothing in response to that story.
