Guess I did not read the instructions very well- I only picked this weeks games ( and did poorly) and then found out that ALL WEEKS picks had to be done prior to the First Game...

Oh - well - maybe again next year...

Cheers

No! I must get that fixed!

When setting up the deadline, I chose the option that says that with the NFL season, picks are due by the first game of the week.

I have a call in to tech support.

Whoops, I just saw that too. Well, that sucks.

I don't see this in the rules...am I missing it? I thought picks can be made up to three hours before the first game of the week.

Hey Steve, any idea what the rules really are? The rules say:

Picks Deadline
All games must be submitted before Thursday, September 06, 2007 8:00 AM

And then it goes on to say:
Picks must be made weekly, and all picks due at least 3 hours before the first game of the week.

Nevermind. Just saw your last post.

didn't read instructions either. i've never been a pool where you have to make all the picks prior to the first week. kind of takes the fun out of it, but i guess those were the rules. oh well.

I'll get it straightened out.

Here's what it says on the 'settings' page:

First Game (Picks are due by the first game. In pools with multiple weeks, like the NFL regular season, each week's picks are due by the first game of that week; Or the March Madness daily pick 'em pool, then it's the first game of that day.)

Technical glitch, I am sure.

sure glad that I am not the only one ---
I actually found out when playing with week 2 and had no selections and the note that it was too late to pick.

Hopefully Steve can get it fixed .... the pool-- Not the games- smile.gif

I spoke with the folks at Pooltracker. They are checking to see if there is a bug in the system.

They say that after tonight's games are done, it should be cleared up.

Congratulations to Brown for winning week one of the Bentley Mortgage 2007 NFL Pickem Spectacular.

In addition to the right to talk smack to all of the losers, Mr. Brown will receive a gift certificate from one of myfolsom's favorites, Goodfellas Express Italian www.goodfellasexpress.com.

The glitch in the system has been fixed, and you can now make your picks for next week. I'm thinking of flipping a coin, as few of my well thought out picks won.

Newbies, feel free to join up. It's not too late!

Next week's winner gets a gift cert from Pachangas. Get yer picks in!
