Nope, though. I go in tomorrow for the scheduled C. We're not rescheduling this time. So, hopefully by this time tomorrow, I'll be able to breathe and walk a little easier. Whoop!

Can't you wait for Dec. 7th...."A day that will live in infamy" ????
Oh, sorry, that may be semi-insensitive....

Bet ya can't wait to have a beer, or wine, or something......

Except that I don't drink anymore. =(
Well, I hope. I quit three months before getting pregnant. In fact, Monday was my one year! I'm wondering if it's going to stick though. It's easy to go without alcohol when you're pregnant, for me.... not so much, otherwise. We'll see though.
What I look forward to is going back to Weight Watchers and getting back into running. Totally miss both of those.

Good for you. It will also be easier to lose pregnancy weight by sticking to not drinking alcohol. Besides, if you're breast feeding, you wouldn't want to drink alcohol anyway, would you?

Oh, Jolene, I weep for you. Nothing better than a good cold beer, or a good Chardonnay. I truly pray for your recovery...

I weep for me as well. Jesse had a Hornsby Apple Cider the other night and I caught a whiff of it and almost started crying.
During about my sixth month of pregnancy, I had a dream that I had a very large blended Mudslide, even though I knew I was pregnant and shouldn't be drinking and I woke up and nearly cried because it was the best thing that I had ever tasted.
These are reasons I do not drink anymore
"Can't you have just one drink?"
"Uh, no. That would be the problem."
And you're right, Tgianco! I'll be giving breastfeeding my most dedicated efforts, so it should still be easy to stay off of it for a while.
Keeping on topic! Just finishing up some last minute cleaning before hitting the hay! I'm under the knife tomorrow! Whooo!

I fully support all who wish to quit drinking. They do so for their own reasons, but mine was because I found out I am an alcoholic. Yeah, that revelation was painful, but now I'm so glad I quit, because I like my family around and find I enjoy "Near Beer" just as much, if not more.
Not to down grade those who drink....so please take no offense by my comments. It's just that some of us can't maintain control of our drinking, and the results aren't pretty.
Jolene, if you are a reforming Alcoholic, as I am...I wish you all the luck in keeping your promise to yourself.
If you are not, please forgive my being presumptuous.
As for your new baby, those born in this month, tend to be very stubborn and sometimes hard to deal with.
( It's sort of funny you've picked up on that fact early on! LOL!)
I know, because my sister's birthday was just last Sunday....and most the time, she is a real pain! She won't listen to anything anyone tells her and has a real rebellious streak, which gets her into trouble most the time.
If you are firm mother, though, I'm sure you'll be alright. My parents were a little too lenient with my sister because she was the baby of the litter, so to speak. Now, she is suffering the lack of discipline, she so badly needed in her youth. And, big brother is growing tired of her being such a brat.
