My people come from a villiage named Dinglebury-on-Gimley. Have you been there? You may not have heard of it. The Normans burned it to the ground in 1066.

I'm thinking of a number between 5 and 7.

How many fingers am I holding up?

Merry Christmas

or

Happy Christmas?

Happy Christmas. And Father Christmas, not Santa. You also have to use the word Jolly a lot more.

Watch it there...

What? What did I say?

Geeez, it's true about soccer,
and everyone knows the only sport that the brits invented and are good at is Cricket (sp?).

Who the heck (besides a Brit) knows how to play that game?

I'll tell ya--hands down the Italian cooking is more popular than the brits and Irish but the Irish are much more prolific in other hobbies. Particularly lying down........ lmaosmiley.gif

I loved Benny Hill, was he very popular? I read he died a lonely man all by himself.

Thankfully, no.

Love Benny Hill, very popular, especially the go go girls. Although I'm probably more of a Monty Python fan, myself.

I love Gordon Ramsey's shows. I'd eat at any of his restaurants, and he could even come over and cook at my house.

Does everybody over there drive Mini-Coopers? Ever see a Corvette in London?

One of my first memories of being in a car is inside a Mini Cooper. Those things are a Tardis.

I don't think I've ever seen a Corvette anywhere in the UK.

But then again, I've never seen a TVR in the U.S.
