I was wondering how this thread got so long without anyone mentioning Manderes. Haven't tried all the rest, but Manderes is pretty good.

It's good, but I agree with Daves assessment. It's always 'well' done and I personally think either of the Bistro's beat it for flavor.

I'm sorry, but that post is just plain wrong.
Burger = meat. Those veggie patties are disgustingly dry, bland, and gross. I've tried a few trying to diet and came to the conclusion a chunk of grilled chicken breast or salmon is the only tasty solution to getting the red meat out of a burger, and wa la, it's no longer a burger but a chicken sandwich or a fish sandwich, so if it's got a veggie patty in it, it's not a burger, it's a veggie patty sandwich.
Bleh!!

If you want it rarer, just tell them rarer... they do ask how you'd like it cooked after all.

there are actually some pretty good vegi burgers to be bad - my wife loves 'em and although I'm like you and oppose them, she made me try one once and I have to admit, it was pretty darn good

hmm--I'm pretty sure that's called graft.
Watch---in a few months they are gonna ask the city for some kind of permit (alcohol?) and the city members will be happy to comply. Why? 'Cause Intel will back up the bank note on the loan.
psht---any city admin who steps inside better be prepared to be photographed and watched for the way they vote....

hehehe someday hopefully we'll branch out... but hey since we are already going to one of the best places in town for lunch - why mess with perfection?
and dude, come on.... I have asked...but it still comes out the same, I swear I think its some kind of California Nanny Law that burgers have to be cooked medium or well - pink or no pink as they say at Red Robin, but at M's, I've never seen pink (...in a burger... you pervs)
maybe tomorrow we can harass Brent about that....hehehe poor Brent...
