Mama Nardi's also has great cheesecake. I had some the other day and it was outrageous!

The pizza is really good too. And heck, they are also really nice people.

That's what we used to get until Mama Nardi's opened.

Cheesecake you say? Brett, have you ever tried Trader Joe's cheesecake? I'm trying to get a comparison point to Mama Nardi's cheesecake.

Do they happen to have a knish on the menu too? smile.gif

If you want cheesecake go to the newly opened Cheesecake Factory in Sacramento.

Yes its good there, the Godiva is my favorite. But Mama Nardis does have great cheesecake that IMHO rivals Cheesecake Factories.

My kids and I ate at Mama Nardi's over the weekend, it was pretty good New York style pizza. I thought I was at Ray's for a second.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Ciro's Pizza (in Folsom)!!! Next to pizza served back East, the best I've had for "California" type pizza.

I am I missing something but I went to Mama Nardi's on Friday and the pizza looked really thin! At 2.50 a piece I would rather get the whole pie at costco for 10.

"thin slices" is what NY pizza is known for. All the locals like to fold it in half so it doesn't flop down and lose the toppings.

Haven't tried Mama Nardis yet.

Then Chicago must be known for thick crust pizzas...
Best Pizza I've ever had and haven't tasted one since moving up north is at Pizz'a Chicago in Santa Clara and all there drinks are served in mason jars.

Oh Yah! I remember that place. They have one Downtown SJ and one in Palo Alto too.

That place is great!

Had Mama Nardi's finally. Really good! Plus, when my wife knocked over our pitcher of beer on accident, they gave us a new one for free!
