I don't think there's anything wrong with kids (of a certain age) playing outside unsupervised.

I WANTED TO TALK ABOUT SOMBODY WHO SAID SHE WAS HOME FROM SCHOOL WELL SCHOOL WAS DONE FRIDAY WAS HER FIRST DAY OFF AND K WAS EARLY DAY MOST OF THE DAYS B4 WITCH MEANS SHE WAS OUT OF SCHOOL BY 11 AM

THIS STARTED B4 A WEEK AGO I SAT ON THE INTERNET WAITING FOR HIM TO GET ONLINE. SHE TALKED TO HIM ON THE 13. AND YOU CAN ON AOL SEARCH FOR PEOPLE IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA. WHEN HE FIRST IMED HE WAS EXPECTING AN ADULT IM SURE. BUT WHEN HE FOUND OUT IT WAS A CHILD HE WENT ON TO TALK ABOUT MASTERBATION AND WHAT NOT
I WOULD LOVE TO POST SOME OF THE CHATS ON HERE BUT KNOW IF I SHOULD THE COPS SAID I COULD SHOW THEM TO THE MEDIA BUT IM NOT SURE ABOUT ON HERE. I COULD HAVE BEEN THIS NONE CARING MOM LIKE YOU ALL MAKE ME OUT TO BE AND DO NOTHING ABOUT THIS. AND LEFT HIM OUT THERE FOR ANOTHER LITTLE GIRL BUT NO I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO. TO MAKE SURE HE WAS OFF THE STS. AS FOR THE PERSON PUTTING DOWN MY DAUGHTER SAYING SHE IS NOT SMART AND SOUNDED 6. WOW THAT MUST BE A NEW LOW FOR YOU TO DOWN A CHILD. SHE WAS SCARED HAD NEWS CREWS AND IN A SITUATION THAT SHE HAD NEVER SEEN B4 WITH THE PRESS AND ON ANOTHER COMMENT THAT SOMBODY SAID I HID MY FACE. YES I DID. FOR THE SAKE OF MY CHILD NOT ME. THIS MAN HAS SEEN MY FACE IN COURT AND WILL EVERY COURT DATE HE HAS I HAVE NO PROBLEM SHOWING MY FACE BUT I DID NOT WANT MY CHILD MADE FUN OF IN ANY WAY.

Regardless of what some of us have stated, you did manage to get someone like that off the streets, and at the end of the day that's all that matters.

You must understand the fact that when so many random people on here who have either seen, speculated, or watched the news story simultaneously felt something was up, its only natural to discuss it on here. Plus points to you for defending your position. And thank you for clearing much of it up.

WHY WOULD WE MAKE THAT UP THIS HAPPEND ON THE 13TH THERE WAS A REPORT DUE. THE COMPUTER WAS IN THE MAIN ROOM OF THE HOUSE. I AM ONE MOM AND CAN ONLY BE OVER ONE CHILDS SHOULDER AT A TIME AND ALL MY KIDS REQUIRE MY TIME. I LIKE TO THINK I CAN TRUST MY KIDS TO TELL ME IF SOMTHING IS WRONG AS SHE DID. MY OLDER CHILDREN DO PLAY OUTSIDE WITH OUT ME, I DO LOOK OUT TO MAKE SURE ALL IS WELL. I MAY NOT BE AS ON MY KIDS AS SOME PARENTS ARE AND I GUESS YOU CAN NOT MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY. AS FAR AS LEAVING MY 2 YEAR OLD HOME ALONE THERE IS NO WAY IF I LEAVE MY 2 YEAR OLD IS ALWAYS WITH ME IF HE IS HOME THERE IS SOMBODY ELSE. HAVE I RAN TO THE STORE UP THE ST AND LEFT MY TEN YEAR OLD SURE I HAVE BUT FEEL SHE IS MORE THEN OK. I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS A CRIME TO LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY OUTSIDE. AS FAR AS THE CPS GOES YES THEY DID COME MY CHOLD TOLD HER TEACHER SHE IS NOT ALLOWED TO EAT WHEN SHE WANTS. WITCH IS TRUE SORRY IM NOT RUNNING A 24 HOUR BUFFET. IF I LET THEM EAT WHAT THEY WANTED WHEN THEY WANTED I WOULD HAVE NO SNACKS WITH IN A DAY. WHEN CPS2 M CAME OUT DINNER WAS IN THE CROCK POT AND HAD PLENTY OF FOOD IN THE HOUSE. THEY SAID THERE WAS NO REASON TO RETURN AND THAT WAS THAT. ALL PARENTS ARE NOT PERFECT AND I KNOW THAT CHILDEN THAT ARE KEPT UNDER LOCK AND KEY AT ALL TIMES WILL TRY TO LET LOOSE AT SOME POINT AND WHEN THEY DO ITS SHELL SHOCK. SO I TRY TO LET MY KIDS LIVE A LITTLE WITH OUT 2 MUCH. AS FAR AS MY CHILD RIDDING HER BIKE SHE FAILED TO PUT IN THAT SHE RODE HER BIKE AROUND THE CORNER TO HER FRIENDS HOUSE WHERE SHE WAS WALKED TO SCHOOL AND FALLOWED HOME. MY CHOLD IS NOT NORMALLY LET ON THE INTERNET. THANK YOU TO THE PERSON WHO SAID BE THANKFULL THAT I HELPED GET A PIG OFF THE ST. I COULD HAVE JUST PULLED THE PLUG ON THE COMPUTER WITCH I DID ANYWAY AND NOT TAKE IT ANYFURTHER THEN HE COULD HAVE LIVED DOWN THE ST AND BEEN OUT IN THE OPEN TO DO SOMTHING MORE TO ANOTHER CHILD. SO IF TAKING A MAN OFF THE ST THAT IS INTO KIDS MEANS I HAVE TO GET ALL THIS BACKLASH THEN SO BE IT. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. IM GLAD THAT EVEN IF IT WAS A DAY MY CHILD FELT OK ENOUGH TO COME TO ME WITH THIS. A LOT OF KIDS WITH SUPER STRICT PARENTS KNOW THAT MOST OF THE TIME YOUR KIDS WILL HIDE MORE FROM YOU THEN YOU THINK. PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS GOING TO TALK I UNDERSTAND THAT. I JUST WANTED TO SAY MY SIDE. I JUST THINK ITS KIDA ODD HOW A PARENT THINKS JUST BECAUSE I HAVE NOT TALKED TO THEM MAKES ME A BAD MOM. Saw this story on Fox40 news. I wouldn't exactly call the girl smart as she kept talking to the creep on IM and waited for a day to even tell her Mom what was going on. Apparently the guy lived about .5 miles from their house.

10 yr old on a PC and Mom has no idea what she is even doing? Geesh. And from the way she talked on the news she seemed more like 6 than 10 from the way she spoke.

if you want to talk about me thats fine. But i think it takes a really sad person to talk badly on a child. who was scared she had cameras in her face and was im sure taken aback. the post about me dont really matter to me this is the only comment that truly botherd me. Both you and I have been a kid and we did not tell out parents everything and our kids will also do the same to say she was not smart because she waited a day. We all would love to think out children would run to us as soon as it happens but you never know what they will do untill it happens; what if your child talks to a boy and never tells you how are you going to know. You wont with that said im glad she came to me so i could make sure this was taken care of. talk about me all you want im butter stuff like that does not effect me . IM glad to give the people who like nothing more then to put others down somthing to talk about. But please all i ask is for you to keep your insults about my children to yourself

I didn't insult your kid, I merely commented on how the interview came across.

If you have an issue with that then don't let the newshounds shove cameras in your kids face if you don't want people to make observations about something you let them do OK? If anything it raised more questions than answers.
